Valentine Roses

I have been inspired by the Christmastime is Here Suite. I love the versatility of this set. Tonight, instead of Christmas I wanted to use the roses sheet. Enjoy.

I used a Cherry Cobbler card base (4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″) with a strip of the Christmastime is Here Designer Series Paper (3″x 3 1/4″). I stamped the photo polymer rose from the Christmas Rose Stamp Set in Cherry Cobbler and Flirty Flamingo on Whisper White (3 1/8″ x 3 5/8″). I gold embossed the cling rose from the Christmas Rose Stamp Set on a scrap of Whisper White, fussy cut it with my Snips and added Dimensionals. I stamped Happy Valentines from the Forever Lovely set in Versamark Ink and embossed it with Gold Embossing Powder. I ran the edges of the stamped Whisper White along the Delicata Gold Ink Pad. I adhered it to a piece of 3 1/2″ x 4″ Cherry Cobbler DSP (the trellis design) and backed that in Gold Foil. I adhered all with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. I added Wink of Stella to the edges of the White Rose petals.

On the inside I stamped “You Are Loved” from the Forever Lovely stamp set in Cherry Cobbler . I added a strip of the Christmastime Is Here DSP on the bottom.
