I have a sweet, young friend who is in her second year at college. I thought she would enjoy this set of note cards using the Beautiful You stamp set. There are 2 of each design for a total of 6 cards and 6 envelopes wrapped in a matching belly band.

THE CUTTING
- Whisper White Thick Cardstock: 6 – 4 1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5 1/2″
- Whisper White Cardstock: 6 – 4″ x 2 3/4″; 2 1/2″ x 2 1/2″
- Seaside Spray Cardstock: 6 – 3 1/4″ x 4 1/4″; 2″ x 11″
THE CREATING
- I stamped the images and sentiments in Gray Granite ink.
- I colored them using Stampin’ Blends. Tip: Don’t lay your freshly colored images on your desktop to dry. As the alcohol dissipates they will stick to the desktop and leave a faint shinny imprint…possibly a layer of paper as well.
- I used the Stitched Rectangle Dies on the 6 Seaside Spray and 6 Whisper White pieces.
- I used a Stitched Shapes Circle Die on the small piece of Whisper White.
- I raised the 6 stamped Whisper White layers and the Circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I used Snail Adhesive on the Seaside Spray layers and Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive on the belly band for added strength. The belly band is just wrapped around and secured (no scoring).
- I applied 3 Pearl Basic Jewels to each of the “Life Looks Beautiful On You” cards.

Very pretty! Love the way that you “wrapped” them up too! 🙂
