Stampin’ Up! Heartfelt Prized Peony Card for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Welcome back to another Amy’s Inkin’ Krew blog hop!  Our very talented team is doing a blog hop featuring Stampin’ Up! products.  This month we are all creating projects with a “Love” theme and I’m featuring the Prized Peony Bundle and Heartfelt Bundle from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog. This card is for my mother for Valentine’s Day (don’t worry, she doesn’t subscribe). She loves florals and soft pinks so the Peony Garden Suite of products is perfect. Enjoy!

The Paper Cuts

  • Petal Pink Cardstock: 11″ x 4 1/4″, scored at 5 1/2″ for the card base & 2 1/2″ x 2 3/4″ to punch.
  • Whisper White Cardstock: 5 1/4″ x 4″ panel and 3″ x 4″ to die cut.
  • Gray Granite Cardstock: largest Stitched Rectangle die cut.
  • Peony Garden Designer Series Paper: 2nd largest Stitched Rectangle die cut.

The Creating

  • Adhere the Gray Granite Stitched Rectangles die cut to the card front. Add the Peony Garden Stitched Rectangle die cut on top.
  • With Gray Granite Ink, stamp the large peony from the Prized Peony Cling Stamp Set on the 3″ x 4″ Whisper White Cardstock. Pass it through the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine with the coordinating die from Peony Dies. Adhere the die cut to the Peony Garden panel on the card front.
  • With Gray Granite Ink, stamp the large peony and leaves from the Prized Peony Cling Stamp Set on the left side of the Whisper White inside panel. Add the sentiment from Heartfelt Photopolymer Stamp Set. Adhere to the inside of the card.
  • With Gray Granite Ink, stamp the large peony from the Prized Peony Cling Stamp Set on a Whisper White Medium Envelope.
  • Punch the 2 1/2″ x 2 3/4″ Petal Pink Cardstock with the scallop edge heart punch from the Heart Punch Pack. Use Gray Granite Ink to stamp the sentiment and stitched heart on it. Pop it onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Using a Dark Gray Granite Stampin’ Blend, add color to a 6″ piece of Whisper White Crinkle Seam Binding Ribbon. Tie in a bow and adhere to the card front with a Mini Glue Dot. (I love how the Stampin’ Blend makes the ribbon a little bit stiffer for a crisper bow). Trim if needed.
  • Embellish with three (3) petal pink Elegant Faceted Gems.
