Stampin’ Up! Gift of Hope Easter Card

To make this sweet Easter card, I used the Gift of Hope Cling Stamp Set from the Jan-June Mini Catalog and the Word Wishes Dies from the 2020-21 Annual Catalog. This pastel combination of Daffodil Delight, Highland Heather and Just Jade is perfect for Easter. Enjoy!

The Paper Cuts

  • Daffodil Delight Cardstock: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″ (card base)
  • Just Jade Cardstock: 3 3/4″ x 5″ (front)
  • Basic White Cardstock: 3 5/8″ x 4 7/8″ (front), and 4 x 5 1/4″ (inside)
  • Highland Heather Cardstock: 4″ x 1 1/4″ (die cutting)

The Creating

  • I started by stamping the floral image on the Whisper White panels and the envelope flap with Basic Gray Ink. I colored the images with Light and Dark Stampin’ Blends Combos: Daffodil Delight, Call Me Clover and Highland Heather.
  • I stamped the inside greeting in Basic Gray Ink. To make it simple, I put the two sentiments on the same block and stamped them together.
  • With my Paper Snips I trimmed a Foam Adhesive Sheet to the size of the Highland Heather Cardstock, peeled one side of the release paper and adhered it to the cardstock. I ran this through the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine with the “Happy” and “Easter” from the Word Wishes Dies. I carefully removed the die cuts and placed them on my Silicone Craft Sheet then used my Take Your Pick Tool to remove the centers of the lower case letters where needed. I then transferred the die cut words to card placing them inside the floral image.
  • I tied a bow with the Just Jade gingham ribbon from The Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack. Trimmed the ends with my Paper Snips and adhered it to the card front with a Mini Glue Dot.

I hope you enjoyed this card. There are links down below for the products used.
