Stampin’ Up! Many Mates & Forever Greenery Thinking of You Card

This card is made with the retiring Many Mates Stamp Set, Many Medallions Dies and Stitched Shapes Dies from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog. I was playing around and wondered what the Many Medallions Dies would look like on a pattern paper instead of solid cardstock. I’m not disappointed…except I wish I had discovered it for St. Patrick’s Day! The green and the medallion looks a little Celtic! Enjoy.

The Paper Cuts

  • Garden Green Cardstock: 4 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 5 1/2″ (card base) and the 2nd largest Stitched Shapes Dies square.
  • Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper: Many Medallions Dies large die cut (front), an additional row from the same die (inside), and 5 3/4″ x 2 3/8″ (envelope)
  • Basic White Cardstock: 3nd largest Stitched Shapes Dies square (sentiment) and a 5 1/4″ x 4″ panel (inside)

The Creating

  • I stamped the “Just Thinking of You” sentiment from the Many Mates Stamp Set on the Basic White Stitched Shapes Dies square with Garden Green Ink. I adhered it with Multipurpose Liquid Glue onto the Garden Green Stitched Shapes square.
  • I adhered the large Many Medallions die cut to the card front with liquid glue and centered the sentiment tag on top with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • For the inside, I first adhered the white panel. Then, I trimmed the single row die cut from the large Many Medallions die with my Paper Snips so that only the inner design was left. I adhered it onto the bottom edge of the inside white panel.
  • I applied the remaining DSP strip to the Basic White Medium Envelope flap with liquid glue and trimmed the excess with my Paper Snips. Don’t you love a matching set?

I was very inspired by your card. So today I made two cards using the medallions die and DSP. Love this ! Thanks – that’s thinking outside the box. 😄

What a great idea, Donna. I haven’t used that die yet because I didn’t quite know what to do with it. TFS.
