Stampin’ Up! Christmas Season Christmas Card

This card is made with the Christmas Season Bundle (Christmas Season Photopolymer Stamp Set + Seasonal Labels Dies) from the July – December 2021 Mini Catalog. I volunteered to create and present a card using this bundle at our upcoming Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Meeting on Sunday. Our team stamps together quarterly via Zoom/FB and it’s lots of fun. It’s my first time presenting, so if you happen to think about me Sunday, say a little prayer all goes smoothly :). If our stampin’ meeting sounds fun and you would like to talk about joining us and getting a discount on your Stampin’ Up! products, drop me an email and I’ll tell you how! Enjoy the card!

The Paper Cuts

  • Crumb Cake Cardstock:  4 1/4″ x 11”, scored at 5 1/2” (card base) and 3″ x 7″ (stamping/die cutting)
  • Cherry Cobbler Cardstock:  4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ (front panel)
  • Evening Evergreen Cardstock: 1 3/4″ x 5 1/4″ (embossing)
  • Painted Christmas 12×12 DSP: 2 1/4″ x 5 1/4″ (front panel), 1/2″ x 4 1/8″ (inside strip)

The Creating

I stamped the sentiments with Real Red Ink using the Stamparatus (optional) on the inside of the card and on the Crumb Cake panel. [Tips:  Due to the fine lines of the sentiments, I find the Stamparatus helpful when stamping them on darker colored cardstocks so that they can be stamped twice if needed.  I placed the label die on the cardstock to assist with approximate placement.  It can be fine tuned when die cutting.]

I stamped the leafy image in Soft Succulent Ink on the inside of the card, on the Crumb Cake panel and on the edge of the envelope. I stamped the pine sprigs twice each in Evening Evergreen Ink on the Crumb Cake panel and the envelope. I stamped the pinecone detail image in Early Expresso Ink on the Crumb Cake panel and on the envelope (mask the leafy stamped image if necessary).  I stamped the pinecone overlay in 2nd generation Soft Suede Ink on the envelope and on the Crumb Cake panel.  On the inside of the card base, I stamped 3 berries in Real Red (just ink 3 or you can mask one on the stamp before inking). I repeated on the envelope and the Crumb Cake panel (all 4 berries).

I die cut the images on the cardstock with the coordinating dies and the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.  I used Paper Snips to trim one of the berries from the other three. I also passed the Evening Evergreen panel through the Stampin’ Emboss Machine inside the pine design Wintery 3D Embossing Folder.

I adhered the embossed panel and the DSP panel to the Cherry Cobbler panel leaving the same margin around the outer edges. Then I wrapped the Cherry Cobbler & Gold 1/2” Ribbon around the panel, over the seam, and secured it to the back with Mini Glue Dots.  I adhered the panel to the card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I dry fit the die cuts on the card front.  First, I adhered the pinecone to the card with liquid glue and then made two “bundles” with the remaining elements attaching them together with Mini Glue Dots:  1) the leafy image, a gold holly leaf and a berry, 2) the two pine sprigs, 3 berries and 2 gold holly leaves.  I adhered these to the back of the sentiment label and applied the decorated label to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back to pop it up. I adhered the DSP strip inside the card with liquid glue.

Thank you for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed the card! If you have any questions or need a catalog, I’d be very happy to be your Demonstrator.   You can drop me an email at I’d love to hear from you!
