Stampin’ Up! Celebration Tidings Heartwarming Hugs Treat Bag

Here’s another project inspired from Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Meeting that included online stamping with the Celebration Tidings Bundle. It’s like getting two projects in one because of the paper and die variations. I hope you’ll enjoy them. The awesome Amy Koenders at StampWithAmyK.com shared her designed and you’ll see her Plaid Tidings DSP, Poinsettia Dies and Mosaic Gusseted Bag version below.

The Paper Cuts

  • Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper: largest die from the Celebration Labels Dies and 6 – 1″ x 3″ strips for the candy wraps.
  • Real Red Cardstock: 3 1/2″ x 1″ and a heart die (approx 3 /4″ square) from Warm Wraps Dies
  • Whisper White Cardstock: a banner die from Tasteful Labels Dies (approx 1/2″ x 2 1/2″) and a 1 1/2″ square
  • Mossy Meadow Cardstock: round, stitched die from Warm Wraps Dies
  • Forever Gold Laser Cut Specialty Designer Series Paper: berry sprig

The Creating

  • Adhere the small strips of DSP around 9 Hersey Nuggets (the clear medium envelope will hold another 3 nuggets if you desire). Place them in the Clear Medium Envelope, remove the adhesive backing and close behind the top row of candies.
  • Score the Celebration Labels die cut in the middle and burnish with a bone folder. Add the gold sprig to the front with a Mini Glue Dot so that it cascades to the bottom, center of the die.
  • Stamp the sentiment on the white banner label with Mossy Meadow Ink. Add the label to the Real Red Cardstock and adhere to the top, right of the Celebration Labels die cut (over the stem of the gold sprig).
  • Stamp the “For You” sentiment on the Whisper White square and cut with the coordinating Warm Hugs Die. Apply Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and apply it to the Mossy Meadow stitched die. Add it to the left of the Celebration Labels dies cut. Add the heart die to the center with a mini dimensional.
  • Use Mini Glue Dots on the inside of the decorated Celebration Label die cut to apply it to the bag of candy.

Here is Amy Koenders Beautiful Treat Bag

She used Cherry Cobbler and Shaded Spruce Cardstocks for her Poinsettia Die, Plaid Tidings DSP and Brushed Metallic Cardstock with the sprig die in Celebration Labels Dies. The bag is the Mosaic Gusseted Bag.

Stampin’ Up! Celebration Tidings Autumn Card

I have another card that I made at the Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Meeting to share with you. The awesomely talented Mary Deatherage of StampsNLingers designed this one for our Celebration Tidings Bundle session. If you remember I didn’t receive the backordered Plaid Tidings Designer Paper in time (I got it yesterday!) so I substituted from last year’s Come To Gather DSP. So much fun! Check out Mary’s original card below.

The Paper Cuts

  • Merry Merlot Cardstock: 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″
  • Cajun Craze Cardstock: Two 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • Very Vanilla Cardstock: 1″ x 3″ and 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″
  • Designer Series Paper (Plaid Tidings Suggested): 4″ x 5 1/4′

The Creating

  • Emboss the Merry Merlot card front with the Subltes 3D Embossing Folder
  • Cut one 4” x 5 1/4” Cajun Craze panel and the 4” x 5 1/4” DSP panel with the 2nd largest Stitched Rectangle die. Adhere them to the card front so that they are slightly off-set.
  • Apply a strip of Stampin’ Seal across the center front of the card and adhere a length of the Faux Linen Ribbon in a wide “z”.
  • Stamp the pumpkin image and the line image from the Celebration Tidings Stamp Set on one of the 4” x 5-1/4” Crumb Cake card stock panels in Tuxedo Black ink. Line them up so they are centered one over the top of the other about 1” apart. Color the images leaves with Old Olive Stampin’ Blends. Color the Pumpkins with Pumpkin Pie Dark and line the ridges with Cajun Craze Light Stampin’ Blend. Add highlights with the Merry Merlot Stampin’ Write Marker.
  • Cut around the stamped images with the 2nd smallest of the label dies from the Celebration Labels and adhere over the ribbon with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Stamp the pumpkin image from the Celebration Tidings in Tuxedo Black ink on the remaining Crumb Cake card stock and color the large pumpkin as before. Snip out the colored pumpkin and adhere it over the stamped pumpkins on the label die cut with a Stampin’ Dimensional.
  • Stamp the sentiment from the Celebration Tidings stamp set in Cajun Craze Ink on the 1” x 3” panel of Very Vanilla card stock. Cut the sentiment out with the Stitched Rectangle die that measures approximately 7/8” x 2-7/8” and then adhere it with Stampin’ Dimensionals to the card front.
  • Cut three small sprig dies from the Celebrations Labels Dies from Merry Merlot Cardstock and adhere them under the sentiment label as shown.
  • Stamp the leaf image and the pumpkin image from the Celebration Tidings stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the remaining Very Vanilla panel and color as before. Adhere to the remaining Cajun Craze cardstock panel and then to the inside of the card.
  • Stamp the pumpkin image from Celebration Tidings stamp set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the Very Vanilla Medium Envelope Flap. Color as before.
Here is Mary’s beautiful card. She cut two sets of extra pumpkins, used Cinnamin Cider embossed with Textured Textile Embossing Folder, Blackberry Bliss and Plaid Tidings DSP. Her sprigs, Enamel Dot and ribbon are Bumble Bee. So Beautiful! Thank you, Mary!

Stampin’ Up! Celebration Tidings Heartwarming Christmas Card

Amy’s Inkin’ Krew had a Team Meeting Sunday that included online stamping with the Celebration Tidings Bundle. So much fun! Unfortunately the coordinating Plaid Tidings Designer Paper is on back order and I haven’t received it yet. No problem! I improvised with the plaid in the Heartwarming Hugs DSP. The talented Jaimie Babarczy from StampItUpwithJaimie.com shared this card design with us. Thank you, Jaimie! So much fun!

The Paper Cuts

  • Real Red Cardstock: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″
  • Whisper White Cardstock: 3 1/8″ x 4 1/2″, 3″ x 4″ and 5 1/2″ x 4″
  • Pear Pizzazz Cardstock: 2 1/2″ x 3 3/4″
  • Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper: 3 1/2″ x 4 1/2″

The Creating

  • Emboss the front of the Real Red card base with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.
  • Cut the panel of Heartwarming Hugs DSP with the 3rd largest rectangle from Stitched Rectangles dies (measures approximately 3-1/8” x 4-3/8”).
  • Adhere the die cut DSP to the 3-1/4” x 4-1/2” panel of Whisper White cardstock. Adhere these to the card front.
  • Cut the Pear Pizzazz card stock panel with the 4th smallest rectangle from the Stitched Rectangle dies (measure approximately 2-1/8” x 3-1/2”). Adhere it to the left side of the card front.
  • Cut the 3” x 4” panel of Whisper White cardstock with the 2nd smallest label from the Celebration Labels Dies. Score it in the middle.
  • Stamp the Mistletoe image from the Celebration Tidings stamp set in Tuxedo Black Memento ink on one half of the from of the die cut label.
  • Color the image with Light and Dark Old Olive and Real Red Stampin’ Blends Markers.
  • Fold the label along the score line and stamp the inside greeting with Real Red Ink. Adhere it to the Pear Pizzazz cardstock.
  • Cut the remaining Whisper White panel with the largest Celebration Labels die. Stamp the Mistletoe in 2nd generation Pear Pizzazz ink. Adhere to the inside of the card.
  • Stamp the Mistletoe on the flap of a Whisper White Medium Envelope and color with the Stampin’ Blends as before.
This is Jaimie’s beautiful card. She used Plaid Tidings Designer Series Paper, Cherry Cobbler and Shaded Spruce Cardstock and the Textured Textiles Embossing Folder for her creation.

Stampin’ Up! Coming Home for Halloween Treat Box

I am having so much fun with the Coming Home Bundle. It is very versatile for general cards as well as a variety of holidays. Here’s a cute Halloween Treat Box inspired by Dena Rekow at The Creativity Cave. It will hold 3 stacked Hersey Nuggets. Enjoy!

The Paper Cuts

  • Whisper White Cardstock: 5″ x 8″
  • Pumpkin Pie Cardstock: Scrap for Trio of Tags pumpkins die
  • Pumpkin Pie Designer Series Paper: 1″ x 5 1/2″

The Creating

  • With Tuxedo Black Ink, stamp 2 houses and 2 trees from the Coming Home Stamp Set. Cut with the coordinating Home Together Dies.
  • Die cut 2 house dies from Whisper White Cardstock. These will hide the coloring bleed through on the back side of the stamped houses. Trim 1/16″ of an inch from the bottom of each.
  • Die cut the pumpkin die from Trio of Tags Dies from a scrap of Pumpkin Pie Cardstock.
  • Use Stampin’ Blends to Color the houses: Basic Black Light and Dark (house), Smokey Slate Light (windows), and Blackberry Bliss Dark (door).
  • Cut a 2 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ piece of Whisper White, score at 1/2″ on the 2 1/4″ sides and 1 1/2″ on the 4 1/4″ sides. Cut the score lines on the long side up to the intersecting score line as below.
  • Apply a strip of Tear & Tape along the center cut tabs. Fold in the outer sections. Apply Tear & Tape to the outside of these edges and attach the colored house die cuts to form your box. Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the white houses to the back of the colored houses to hide the box seams and the color bleed through.
  • Apply half Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back for the tree and pumpkin die cuts and apply to the house fronts on each side.
  • Wrap the DSP around 3 Hersey Nuggests and secure in place with Tear & Tape. Tie the Black and White Baker’s Twine from Playful Pets Trim around the center. So cute!

Stampin’ Up! Harvest Hello Miss You Card

This card features the Harvest Hello Stamp Cling Stamp Set and the coordinating Apple Builder Punch. Don’t you love the Fall colors? Enjoy!

The Paper Cuts

  • Sahara Sand Cardstock: 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″ and the second smallest Stitched Nested Labels die.
  • Cajun Craze Cardstock: Pumpkin Punch
  • Mossy Meadow Cardstock: 3″ x 5 1/2″ and a leaf.
  • Soft Suede Cardstock: a scrap for the stem punch.

The Creating

  • I used Cajun Craze Ink to randomly stamp the pumpkin, stem and leaf on the Sahara Sand card base. Masking helped to get the stems and leaves in place.
  • I stamped a pumpkin with Cajun Craze Ink on Cajun Craze Cardstock, a stem in Soft Suede Ink on Soft Suede Cardstock and a leaf in Mossy Meadow Ink on Mossy Meadow Cardstock. I punched the pumpkin, stem and fussy cut the leaf. I glued the stem and leaf to the pumpkin and added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back.
  • I stamped the sentiment on a scrap of Sahara Sand Cardstock with Cajun Craze Ink and then cut it with the 2nd smallest Stitched Nested Dies. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back left side.
  • I ran the Mossy Meadow Cardstock through the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine in the Wrapped in Texture Embossing Folder then wrapped Linen Thread around it twice vertically and tied a double bow.
  • I adhered the embossed panel to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and popped the pumpkin and label on.
  • I stamped the sentiment and leaves on the inside of the card and the pumpkin and leaf on the envelope with Cajun Craze Ink.

Wheelbarrow Full of Boo with Stampin’ Up! Tags Tags Tags for the Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Welcome to the Inkin’ Krew Monthly Blog Hop! This month the Inkin’ Krew team theme is “Halloween Fun.” I hope the tiny pumpkins on this card make you smile, too!

My card features the Tags, Tags, Tags Photopolymer Stamp Set and the coordinating Trio of Tags Dies from the 2020-2021 Stampin’ Up! Annual Catalog. The wheelbarrow is from the Autumn Goodness Bundle from the Stampin’ Up! August-December 2020 Mini Catalog. There are also 3 Rectangle Stitched Dies. This is the most used die set in my collection….a must have.

The Paper Cuts

  • Basic Black Cardstock: 5 1/2″ x 8″ (scored at 4 1/4″), 3rd largest die from Rectangle Stitched Dies, and 2″ x 1 1/2″ for the inside sentiment.
  • Pumpkin Pie Designer Series Paper: 6″ x 6″ for the largest die from Rectangle Stitched Dies and the envelope flap.
  • Pumpkin Pie Cardstock: 3″ x 5″ for dies.
  • Whisper White Cardstock: 6″ x 2″ for dies and a 5″ x 3 3/4″ panel.
  • Whisper White Medium Envelope

The Creating

  • On the Whisper White Cardstock, stamp the wheelbarrow, the wheel and the two bottom images of the Tags, Tags, Tags stamp with Tuxedo Black Ink. Tip: use a D Block to center the 2 tags and wrap the extra one around the side. It will stick and make it easy to ink and stamp just the ones you want.
  • Color the wheelbarrow and wheel with the Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends. Color a 16″ Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon with the Dark Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends.
  • Cut out the inside sentiment (Happy Boo) with the Paper Trimmer or Paper Snips. You want to trim on the inside of the tag outline so you just get the sentiment.
  • Die cut the wheelbarrow, wheel and remaining sentiment. Tip:
To avoid getting the tag hole, run the die half way through (you’ll feel the edge clear), turn the die around and run the other half through.
  • From the Paper Pumpkin Cardstock, die cut the smallest Rectangle Stitched Die and 14 pumpkins (7 runs, the die cuts 2 each time).

The Assembly

  • Use Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the wheel to the wheelbarrow. Add Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back. Also add them to the front sentiment tag (Sending a Halloween Hello).
  • Tie the ribbon in a bow around the bottom of the black rectangle stitched die.
  • Adhere the DSP to the card base. Top with the black rectangle stitched die. Add the wheelbarrow in the lower left corner. Use the Fine Tip Glue Pen to adhere 12 pumpkins, tucking the lowest level slightly under the wheelbarrow edge. Add the sentiment label.
  • Adhere the two remaining pumpkins to the inside sentiment. Adhere the remaining layers to the inside of the card base.
  • Apply glue to the envelope flap and apply the remaining DSP with the stitched edge on the bottom. Use scissors to fussy cut the excess DSP and envelope that shows.

Stampin’ Up! Celebration Tidings Treat Box

Yesterday, I received a new stamp bundle in the mail and, of course, I couldn’t wait to make something with it. Tonight’s project features the Celebration Tidings Bundle which includes the Celebration Tidings Photopolymer Stamp Set and the Celebrations Labels Dies at a 10% Discount. Enjoy!

The Paper Cuts

  • Basic Black Cardstock: 4 1/2″ x 6 3/4″ and the largest label die
  • Whisper White Cardstock: Second largest label die and a small scrap

The Creating

  • Score the Basic Black Cardstock at 1 1/2″ on each side. Fold and crease with Bone Folder.
  • Use Paper Snips to snip the score marks on the long side up to the intersecting score mark.
  • Put Multipurpose Liquid Glue on the back side of the four cut corners and bring to the inside to adhere to the sides to make the box.
  • Cut the two die cut labels in half with the Paper Trimmer. On the Whisper White halves add the stamping in Tuxedo Black Ink. Tip: Since there are two sides with matching designs, I used my Stamparatus for twice the speed. Add Wink of Stella to the spider web.
  • Stamp 2 spiders on Whisper White scrap, fussy cut and add a Stampin’ Dimensional to the back.
  • Use the Dark Pumpkin Stampin’ Blend to add color to the Whisper White Crinkle Seam Binding Ribbon. This is so easy, you only have to do one side and it dries quickly. It also makes the ribbon a little stiffer which eases the tying and make the bow stand up pretty.
  • Tie the colored ribbon around the Whisper White half labels. Tip: Ever feel like you need extra hands when tying a ribbon around a layer? I use my Stamparatus and magnet to hold the label in place while I tie the bow. Adhere the labels to the Basic Black halves with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
  • Put adhesive on the long side of the black box and place the label layer on top lining up the bottom and side edges.
  • Place your spiders and add the candy. The bag I used was left over from a previous project and measured 4″ x 6″. I am going to order the Mosaic Gusseted Cellophane Bags (linked below). It will be a perfect fit and the black and white design will look good for multiple holidays. I tied the top of the bag with the Black and White Bakers Twine from the Playful Pets Trim Combo Pack.

I filled my treat with Candy Corn because it is one of my favs. On our last Team Meeting I discovered there are folks who don’t like Candy Corn…what!? Maybe they haven’t had Brach’s with Honey. I didn’t tell them I had just bought a 5 lb bag at Sam’s (blush). How about you? Love it or don’t? Let me know in the comments below.

Stampin’ Up! Dove of Hope Christmas Card

This card features the Dove of Hope Bundle which includes the Dove of Hope Cling Stamp Set and the Detailed Dove Dies at a 10% Discount. My sister and I played with it yesterday and she’s decided to use it for her Christmas card this year. Her version is slightly different and I wished I’d gotten a picture of it to share with you. Alas, maybe you are on her Christmas Card List. Enjoy!

The Paper Cuts

  • Night of Navy Cardstock: 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″ and 3 3/4″ x 5″
  • Whisper White Cardstock: Two 4″ x 5 1/4″, a 3″ x 1″ Rectangle Stitched Die and 4 Detailed Dove Dies – body, 2 wings, tail.
  • Old Olive Cardstock: sprig die from Detailed Dove Dies.

The Creating

  • Stamp the sentiments on the Rectangle Stitched Dies die cut and the Whisper White inside panel with Night of Navy Ink. Add 2nd generation dove to the inside panel.
  • Use the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine to emboss the Night of Navy panel with the Dainty Diamonds 3D Embossing Folder.
  • Adhere the Whisper White panel to the card front and the stamped panel to the inside with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
  • Dry fit the remaining elements on the card front.
  • Add the baker’s twine from the Playful Pets Trim Combo Pack around the embossed panel and secure in place with tape or glue dots. I know it says it’s black, but when it’s next to the Night of Navy Cardstock it looks navy…I was surprised! (In the “flattened” photo it looks more black than it does on the card – you’ll just have to see it in person.) I liked how it pulled the two colors together better than a plain white ribbon and was a simple embellishment. Glue the embossed panel onto the white panel.
  • I glued the bottom wing, tail section and sprig down with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. The dove body and the sentiment label are popped up with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. The top wing is glued where it touches the body and supported by dimensionals going out.
  • I stamped a 2nd Generation dove on the envelope so it would be between the return address and the mailing address. I added a little Wink of Stella to pull a pale blue into the dove and add some sparkle.
