Stampin’ Up! Pretty Pumpkins “Giving Thanks” Card for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Welcome to Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop for October! Today we are sharing “Giving Thanks” projects. At the bottom of my post you will find links to hop along the way to my teammate’s projects. Be sure to visit them all to see how each interpreted the theme. I hope you like what I made for you!

I used the Pretty Pumpkins Bundle (Pretty Pumpkins Cling Stamp Set + Detailed Pumpkins Dies) from the July – December 2021 Mini Catalog (page 48) to make this “Giving Thanks” card.  The fonts in this set are so pretty and the dies are incredible! Enjoy the card…

The Paper Cuts

  • Pumpkin Pie Cardstock: 11″ x 4-1/4″, scored at 5-1/2″ (card base)
  • Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper: largest die cut from Stitched Rectangle Dies
  • Brushed Metallic Cardstock: 2nd largest die cut from Stitched Rectangle Dies
  • Basic White Cardstock: 5-1/4″ x 4″ (inside panel), the 3rd largest die cut from Stitched Rectangle Dies and 3″ x 3″ (stamping/die cutting)
  • Mossy Meadow Cardstock: 1 of each of the pumpkin leaves dies from Detailed Pumpkin Dies
  • Cork Specialty Paper: 4″ x 3/4″

The Creating

I began by stamping the pumpkin trio and the smaller blossom image onto the 3″ x 3″ Basic White cardstock with Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored the image with Light and Dark Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends, Light Mango Melody Stampin’ Blend, Light and Dark Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends, Light Cajun Craze Stampin’ Blend, and Light and Dark Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends. I then die cut the images with the coordinating dies and the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.

I stamped the pumpkin trio image with Pumpkin Pie Ink on the lower left corner of the Basic White inside panel and the Basic White Medium Envelope. I added a little Wink of Stella to the leaves for some sparkle! I also stamped the “so thankful for you” sentiment on the top right corner of the Basic White Stitched Rectangle die cut in Early Expresso Ink.

With Multipurpose Liquid Glue, I adhered the DSP panel, the bronze Brushed Metallic Cardstock panel, the Basic White Stitched Rectangle and the Cork strip to the card front. I popped up the pumpkin trio die cut with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the blossom image with liquid glue where it touches the pumpkins and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals where it touches the cork. The die cut leaves and the inside panel are adhered with liquid glue.

Stampin’ Up! Beauty of the Earth DSP Scraps Thanksgiving Card

This is a fun card that utilizes little paper scraps from your favorite Designer Series Paper. It doesn’t require measuring or coloring and the stamping is minimal. I used scraps from the Beauty of the Earth 12″x12″ Designer Series Paper from the 2020-22 Annual Catalog for this Thanksgiving card. The sentiments are from A Wish for Everything Cling Stamp Set and the dies from Harvest Dies in the July – Dec 2021 Mini Catalog. I hope you enjoy!

    The Paper Cuts

    • Basic White Thick Cardstock:  4 1/2″ x 11”, scored at 5 1/2” (card base)
    • Bumblebee Cardstock:  two wheat die cuts from Harvest Dies (and scrap strips if you’d like)
    • Beauty of the Earth 12×12 DSP: scrap strips (mine range from 1/4″ to 1/2″ thick and 3 1/4″ to 4″ long) and 6″ x 2 1/4″ (envelope flap)

    The Creating

I placed the wheat die cut onto Bumblebee Cardstock and roughly cut around it with Paper Snips. I then placed the cardstock onto the Foam Adhesive Sheet and trimmed it to match (I pieced two foam pieces together longways to accommodate the length). I peeled the release paper on one side of the foam and applied it to the cardstock. I passed it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with the wheat die, then flipped the clear part of the sandwich over (not disturbing the contents) and ran it through again, upside down. I find this ensures a clean cut through the thickness of the foam. I cut another wheat die from Bumblebee Cardstock without the adhesive.

I dry fit the scrap strips of DSP on the card front to finalize placement and do any desired trimming. I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere them to the card front. I peeled the remaining release paper from the foam on the wheat die cut and placed it on the card front. I used Early Expresso Ink to stamp the sentiments from the A Wish for Everything Cling Stamp Set on the card front and the inside.

I glued two DSP strips to the bottom edge of the inside of the card and then adhered the 2nd wheat die cut. I trimmed excess overhang from the bottom edge with the Paper Snips. I added a 1/4″ Bumblebee Gingham Trim bow with a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional (it fell in a recessed area) to embellish the card front. I adhered DSP to the Basic White Medium Envelope flap with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (Tip: apply the glue to the flap) and trimmed the excess DSP with Paper Snips.

Thank you for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed the card! If you have any questions or need a catalog, I’d be very happy to be your Demonstrator.   You can drop me an email at stampdabbles@gmail.com. I’d love to hear from you!

Stampin’ Up! Sweet Strawberry Fall Leaves Card

I created this Fall card with a variety of stamp sets that you wouldn’t expect to go together…the leaves are from the Sweet Strawberry Photopolymer Stamp Set, the sentiments from the Encircled in Friendship Cling Stamp Set and the Designer Series Paper is part of the Beauty of Friendship Collection, but they make a great card!  Don’t be afraid to mix and match!

    The Paper Cuts

    • Early Expresso Cardstock:  8 1/2” x 5 1/2”, scored at 4 1/4” (card base)
    • Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper:  5 1/4” x 4” (front panel)
    • Basic White Cardstock:  3rd smallest Stitched Rectangle die cut,   2 1/2″ x 4″ (for stamping/punching) and 5 1/4” x 4” (inside panel)

    The Creating

The leaves are Two-Step Stamping with a detail stamp (1st generation ink) and a fill stamp (2nd generation ink).  On Basic White Card, I stamped two Soft Suede leaves and one each of Pumpkin Pie, Bumblebee and Cajun Craze.  I punched these out with the coordinating Strawberry Builder Punch.

I stamped a Pumpkin Pie, Bumblebee and Soft Suede leaf on the inside panel and on the envelope.  I added the sentiment on the inside panel with Early Expresso Ink.  I stamped the sentiment on the Stitched Rectangle die cut with Early Expresso Ink and then ran it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine inside the Timber Embossing Folder.

The DSP and inside panels are adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.  The label and punched leaves are popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Thank you for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed the card! If you have any questions or need a catalog, I’d be very happy to be your Demonstrator.   You can drop me an email at stampdabbles@gmail.com. I’d love to hear from you!

Stampin’ Up! Sparkle of the Season Fall Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Sparkle of the Season Photopolymer Stamp Set from the July – December 2021 Mini Catalog for this card. The color and stamping inspiration came from the Beauty of the Earth 12×12 Designer Series Paper from the 2021-22 Annual Catalog.

The card design was inspired by the Sunday Stamps Weekly Challenge: SSC264 FRONT AND CENTER.

    The Paper Cuts

    • Mossy Meadow Cardstock: 11″ x 4 1/4″, scored at 5 1/2″ (card base), 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″ (front panel) and the 3rd largest die cut from Stitched Rectangle Dies.
    • Basic White Cardstock: 4 1/4″ x 3″ (stamping) and 5 1/4″ x 4″ (inside)
    • Misty Moonlight Cardstock: 3″ x 3/4″ (sentiment)
    • Beauty of the Earth 12×12 DSP: 5 3/8″ x 2″ in each pattern, 5 1/4″ x 1/2″ (inside) and 5 3/4″ x 2 1/4″ (env)

    The Creating

I began by adhering the two DSP panels to the Mossy Meadow front panel, lining them up with the top and bottom edges. I wrapped the Fine Art Ribbon around the center to the back of the panel and secured the ends with tape. I adhered the panel to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I randomly stamped images from the Sparkle of the Season Stamp Set around the Basic White panel. The green leafy image is stamped in Mossy Meadow Ink. The sprig is stamped in Misty Moonlight Ink. For the oak leaf image I inked in Pumpkin Pie and then used a Sponge Dauber to apply Cajun Craze Ink up the stem and the leaf edges. I ran the stamped panel through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with the 4th largest Stitched Rectangle Die. I adhered it to the Mossy Meadow Stitched Rectangle Die Cut and popped them up on the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

With VersaMark Ink, I stamped the sentiment on Misty Moonlight Cardstock, sprinkled on White Stampin’ Emboss Powder (tapping off the excess) and melted it with the Heat Tool. I ran this through the die cut machine with the smallest Stitched Rectangle Die. I adhered this to the stamped panel with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. I embellished with two pieces of the Fine Art Ribbon (I didn’t fold because there seems to be a “right” and “wrong” side), tucked in with Mini Glue Dots and three Brushed Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots.

I stamped leaves on the corner of the envelop and on the inside panel with the sentiment. I applied strips of the DSP to both, trimming the excess from the envelope flap.

Stampin’ Up! Beauty of Friendship Autumn Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Beauty of Friendship Bundle and the coordinating Beauty of the Earth 12″x12″ Designer Series Paper from the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog to make this card. This bundle has been super fun to create with. Enjoy!

    The Paper Cuts

    • Basic White Thick Cardstock: 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″ (card base)
    • Beauty of the Earth 12″x12″ DSP: 4″ x 5 1/4″ (front panel), 5 3/4″ x 2 1/4″ (env) & 4 1/4″ x 1/4″ (inside)
    • Vellum Cardstock: 2nd largest die cut in Stitched Rectangles Dies
    • Mossy Meadow Cardstock: large tree top outline die cut from Beautiful Trees Dies and 3 1/2″ x 1″ strip for die cutting (front)
    • Early Expresso Cardstock: tree trunk and branches die cut from Beautiful Trees Dies
    • Bumblebee Cardstock: tree foliage die cut from Beautiful Trees Dies
    • Basic White Cardstock: small flagged label die cut from Tasteful Labels Dies (there is a smooth edge die in the Beautiful Trees Dies if you prefer)

    The Creating

I stamped the Hello sentiment with Mossy Meadow Ink on the Tasteful Label die cut. With Bumblebee Ink, I stamped the tree top image from Beauty of Friendship Stamp Set over the tree foliage die cut. I love the texture it gave! I adhered the tree die cut to the green tree top outline with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and then added the stamped foliage on top.

On the inside of the card base I stamped the tree image with Second Generation Early Expresso, Mossy Meadow and Bumblebee Inks. I adhered the small DSP strip along the bottom edge. I adhered the larger DSP to the envelope flap and trimmed the excess with Paper Snips.

To assemble the card, I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the tree die cut and the “underbrush” die cut. I adhered the DSP panel to the card base and then dry fit the Vellum die cut, tree die cut and underbrush die cut. I added the Crushed Curry Holiday Basic Rhinestones with my Take Your Pick Tool and the tree die cut to the vellum rectangle. I applied liquid glue under these elements to adhere the vellum to the front panel. I then slipped the 1/4″ Bumblebee Gingham Ribbon under the tree trunk and tied it in a bow around the top of the card panel. Lastly, I added the sentiment label and the underbrush.

Stampin’ Up! Beauty of Friendship Fall Card for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Welcome to Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop for August! Today we are sharing “Fall Frenzy” projects. You will find links at the bottom of my post to hop you along the way to the other projects. Be sure to visit them all to see how each team member interpreted the theme. I hope you will enjoy what I made for you!

I used the Beauty of Friendship Bundle from the 2021 -2022 Annual Catalog (page 11) to make this Fall Thinking of You card.  When I think of Fall, I imagine red, yellow, orange and brown leaves like the ones on this printed sheet of Beauty of Friendship 12″x12″ Designer Series Paper. So pretty! I hope you enjoy the pops of metallic in the design and the tips included below.

    The Paper Cuts

    • Crumb Cake Cardstock: 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″ (card base) and 3 1/2″ x 1″ (land at base of tree)
    • Cajun Craze Cardstock: 4″ x 5 1/4″ (front panel) and the thin label die from Beautiful Trees Dies
    • Early Expresso Cardstock: large tree die cut from Beautiful Trees Dies
    • Basic White Cardstock: 4″ x 5 1/4″ (inside layer)
    • Beauty of Friendship DSP (Misty Forest Pattern): 3 3/4″ x 5″ (front layer) and 4″ x 3/4″ (inside strip)
    • Beauty of Friendship DSP (Fall Leaf Pattern): 5 3/4″ x 2 1/4″ (envelope) & the large open tree top die cut from Beautiful Trees Dies
    • Brushed Metallic Cardstock (Bronze): large open tree top die cut

    The Creating

I began by stamping the “Thinking of You” sentiment from the Beauty of Friendship Stamp Set with VersaMark Ink on the Cajun Craze label, sprinkling on White Stampin’ Emboss Powder (shaking off the excess) and melting it with the Heat Tool. I stamped the “You Truly Inspire Me” sentiment on the Basic White inside panel with Cajun Craze Ink.

Next, I ran the Crumb Cake strip through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with the 3 3/8″ x 1 3/8″ Stitched Rectangle Die along the bottom edge. Then I ran the piece through again to die cut the top edge with the bottom edge of the large open tree top die. I cut the Brushed Metallic die cut in half vertically with my Paper Trimmer (it doesn’t have to be perfect) and with Multipurpose Liquid Glue, I adhered the halves (slightly askew to show on the outside) to the back of the leaves DSP die cut. We do it with labels, so why not bigger shaped dies? Love it!

Now for the assembly…I adhered the cardstock and DSP panels with Multipurpose Liquid glue, trimming off the extra around the envelope flap. I applied Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the Crumb Cake die cut and the tree (a thin slice cut from the edge works great for the trunk). The sentiment label has liquid adhesive where it touches the Crumb Cake die and a slice of dimensional sheet along the bottom edge to keep it level. I added three Bronze Brushed Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots (from the new July to Dec 2021 Mini Catalog) to embellish the card front.

Stampin’ Up! Christmas Season (Sneak Peek) and Beauty of Friendship Masculine Thank You Card

I used a little old and a little new for this card. The Beauty of the Earth 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper, the Beauty of Friendship Stamp Set sentiments, and the Wintery 3D Embossing Folders are from the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog whereas the Christmas Season Stamp Set and the Brushed Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots embellishment are from the upcoming August 3, 2021-Jan 3, 2022 Mini Catalog. I love the coordination and quality of Stampin’ Up!, as well as the versatility of the products to be used for multiple occasions. Enjoy!

The design for this card was inspired by The Paper Player Challenge: PP551 – A Sketch Challenge from Ann.

    The Paper Cuts

    • Basic White Thick Cardstock: 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″ (card base)
    • Basic White Cardstock: 1 7/8″ x 4 1/4″ and 1 7/8″ x 7/16″ (for stamping)
    • Soft Seafoam Cardstock: 3 1/2″ x 1″
    • Old Olive & Mossy Meadow Cardstock: 3 1/16″ x 1″ (1 of each color)
    • Soft Suede Cardstock: 2″ x 5″
    • Early Expresso Cardstock: 2 1/8″ x 5 1/8″
    • Beauty of the Earth 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper: 4″ x 5 1/4″ (front panel) and 4″ x 1/2″ (inside)

    The Creating

I stamped the smaller pinecone from Christmas Season Photopolymer Stamp Set four times on the Basic White panel. This is a Two Step image…I stamped the detail stamp first in Early Expresso Ink and followed up with the larger fill stamp in Soft Suede Ink. Next I added the double leafed fir stamp randomly between the cones with Mossy Meadow Ink and followed with the pine sprig image in First- and Second-Generation Old Olive Ink. To complete the stamping I added the sentiments with Early Expresso Ink and added the leaves inside with First- and Second-Generation Old Olive Ink.

Next I ran the small strips of green cardstocks through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine inside the pine sprig Wintery 3D Embossing Folder. I did the same with the flap of the Basic White Medium Envelope.

To assemble, I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the layers and the inside strip to the card base. I added three Bronze Brushed Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots to embellish the card front.

Stampin’ Up! Sparkle of the Season Autumn Card Sneak Peek

I used the Sparkle of the Season Bundle from the upcoming August 3, 2021-Jan 3, 2022 Mini Catalog to make this Fall card. The bundle includes the Sparkle of the Season Photopolymer Stamp Set and the Seasonal Swirls Dies. There is also a sneak peek of the sparkly Cherry Cobbler & Gold 1/2″ Ribbon. So pretty! And, the plaid Peaceful Prints 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper in the background is free from Stampin’ Up! as of Aug 3 with a $50 order as part of Sale-a-bration!

The design for this card was inspired by the Sunday Stamps Weekly Challenge SSC262 GETTING SKETCHY.

    The Paper Cuts

    • Early Expresso Cardstock: 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″ (card base) and the leafy wreath die cut from Seasonal Swirls Dies.
    • Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze, and Bumblebee Cardstock: two leaves die cuts from Seasonal Swirls Dies in each color (the die cuts 2 leaves at a time so you will have 4 leaves in each color).
    • Cherry Cobbler Cardstock: two leaves die cuts and 3 7/8″ x 5 1/4″ (front panel).
    • Sahara Sand Cardstock: 2″ x 1″ (stamping & cutting three pinecones)
    • Beauty of the Earth 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper (wood pattern): largest Stitched Rectangle die cut.
    • Peaceful Prints 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper (plaid pattern): two 1 3/4″ x 3 3/8″ Stitched Rectangle die cuts (front panels) and a 5 3/4″ x 2 1/4″
    • Basic White Cardstock: label from Tasteful Label Dies and 4″ x 5 1/4″ (inside panel)

    The Creating

I stamped three pinecones from Sparkle of the Season Stamp Set in Early Expresso Ink onto the Sahara Sand Cardstock (which coordinates with the Peaceful Prints DSP) and die cut them with the coordinating die. I stamped the “Grateful” sentiment on the Tasteful Labels die cut in Cherry Cobbler Ink. I also stamped the inside sentiment from A Wish for Everything Stamp Set with Cherry Cobbler Ink.

I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the layers and die cuts to the card base. For the greeting on the card front, I applied Tear & Tape Adhesive to the back of 2 1/2″ of Cherry Cobbler & Gold 1/2″ Ribbon and to the back of the stamped label. I added three Gold Metallic Pearls to embellish the card front. I adhered a strip of the DSP to the envelope flap and trimmed the excess with Paper Snips for a coordinating set.

Stampin’ Up! Enjoy the Moment Card with Shadow Technique

I used the Enjoy the Moment Stamp Set and the Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper from the May 2021 – April 2022 Annual Catalog to make this card. I used the Shadow Technique to create an illusion of depth to make the stamp image stand a little more off the paper. Enjoy!

    The Paper Cuts

    • Basic White Thick Cardstock: 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″ (card base)
    • Cajun Craze Cardstock: 4th largest Rectangle Stitched Dies die cut (front)
    • Basic White Cardstock: 2nd thinnest Rectangle Stitched Dies die cut (sentiment)
    • Beauty of the Art 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper (2 patterns): 4 1/4″ x 3 1/2″ (multi), 1/4″ x 4 1/4″ (multi) and 3 1/2″ x 5″ (green)

    The Creating

Using my Stamparatus, I placed the Cajun Craze rectangle in the upper corner and stamped the pod image with Whisper White Craft Ink. I hit it briefly with my Heat Tool to assist with drying (opt) and then slid the paper a smidge (not even 1/16″) to the right and stamped the image with Cajun Craze Ink. With Mossy Meadow Ink I stamped the sentiment on the Basic White rectangle and adhered it to the stamped Cajun Craze rectangle with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (left side only). I wrapped Linen Thread around the Cajun Craze rectangle and tied in a bow. I adhered the flat layers with liquid glue and popped the stamped layers up with Stampin’ Dimensionals. There are 3 gold Metallic Pearls added with my Take Your Pick Tool putty tip for a little bling.

For the inside of the card, I lined up the sentiment and pod image in the Stamparatus, inked the sentiment with Mossy Meadow Ink and the pod image with Cajun Craze and stamped them both at once. I love my Stamparatus! I added the DSP strip along the bottom edge. I repeated the pod image in Cajun Craze on the Medium Basic White Envelope.
