Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Place Quick & Easy Multiple Christmas Cards

Are you looking for a quick and easy Christmas card that you can easily create multiples of? Then you might enjoy tonight’s cards. The design is the brain child of Connie Stewart of Simply Simple Stamping and I love it so much I wanted to share it with you! The star of the show is the Peaceful Place 12″ x 12″ Specialty Designer Series Paper, complimented by sentiment from Christmas to Remember Cling Stamp Set. Both are from the July – December 2021 Mini Catalog. This paper pack contains several sheets of DSP (3 different designs, 6 sheets) that are meant to create multiple cards. There are 2 of the particular printed design used in tonight’s cards which would make 12 cards total (add 24 more if you use the other 2 designs)!

I’ve used various colored backgrounds and embellishments, but you could streamline to one (you’re favorite) color and embellishment to speed things along and minimize cost. The Stamparatus is also useful when producing multiples, but not necessary. I’ve listed the various products that I used below, but not all of them are needed to make this card.

The Paper Cuts

  • Peaceful Place 12″ x 12″ Specialty Designer Series Paper: cut 1-1/4″ off the all white side with the Paper Trimmer and then cut into 4″ wide strips. Cut the remaining DSP with the trees in half at 4-3/4″ and then into 4″ panels.
  • Cardstock Card Bases (Cherry Cobbler, Evening Evergreen, Basic White Thick, Gray Granite): Six 4-1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5-1/2″ OR 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″ (3 sheets of 8-1/2″ x 11″ cardstock)
  • Basic White Cardstock: Six 4″ x 5-1/4″ panels (inside)
Neutrals: Gray Granite/Basic Rhinestones and Basic White Thick/silver Metallic Pearls

The Creating

First, tear one long edge of the 4″ x 1-1/4″ strips for the snowscape.

Next, stamp the sentiments on the snow panel or the tree panel. I did some of both because I couldn’t decide between the two!

Traditional: Cherry Cobbler Cardstock with Holiday Basic Rhinestones

Stamp the inside sentiment of your choice on the Basic White panels ink color that coordinates with the card base.

To assemble, adhere the tree panel to the front of the card base aligning the top edge equally with the sides. Adhere the snowscape strip to the bottom edge leaving the same spacing as the sides. Apply embellishment of choice (the Take Your Pick Tool putty tip makes this quick & easy). Adhere the stamped Basic White panels to the inside of the card base.

Traditional: Evening Evergreen Cardstock with 2021-23 In Color Jewels

Stampin’ Up! Festive & Bright Christmas Note Card

Here is a card that I made at the Inkin’ Krew Retreat designed by the wonderful Sue Prather. It uses the Festive & Bright Bundle (Festive & Bright Stamp Set + Festive Finishes Dies) from the July – December 2021 Mini Catalog. Sue paired it with the Peaceful Prints 12″x12″ Specialty DSP that is free with a $50 purchase during Sale-A-Bration. Sale-A-Bration ends on September 30th, so hurry! The Be Dazzling 6″x6″ Specialty Paper has sold out and the Sheep Dies, and the Summer Shadows Dies are in low inventory.

    The Paper Cuts

    • Real Red Cardstock:  5-1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4-1/4″ (card base)
    • Basic Black Cardstock: two 5-1/4″ panels (front & inside) and 4-1/8″ x 2-1/2″ (front)
    • Basic White Cardstock:  4″ x 3″ (embossed/stamping), sentiment label die cut from Festive Finishes Dies, and 5-1/8″ x 3-7/8″ (inside panel)
    • Peaceful Prints 12″x12″ Specialty Paper: 5-1/8″ x 3-3/8″(front layer)

    The Creating

With StazOn Black Ink, stamp the garland image from Festive & Bright Stamp Set along the bottom edge of the 4″ x 3″ Basic White panel and the 5-1/8″ x 3-7/8″ Basic White inside panel. Color the stamped images with the Real Red and Garden Green Stampin’ Write Markers. Pass the top portion (above the stamping) through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine inside the pine patterned Wintry 3D Embossing Folder with the No. 1 and No. 4 sandwich. Also run through the envelope flap. Stamp the sentiment on the die cut label with Real Red Ink,.

I wrapped a 5″ piece of the Black & White 1/4″ Gingham Ribbon around the embossed panel and secured to the back with Mini Glue Dots. I added a small bow from the same ribbon next to it with a Mini Glue Dot and I popped on the sentiment label with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the embossed panel to the 4-1/8″ x 2-1/2″ Basic Black panel. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back. I adhered the remaining panels with liquid glue as shown and popped on the decorated embossed layer.

Thank you for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed the card! If you have any questions or need a catalog, I’d be very happy to be your Demonstrator.   You can drop me an email at stampdabbles@gmail.com. I’d love to hear from you!

Stampin’ Up! Encircled in Warmth Gift Card Holder

I arrived safely home yesterday from the Inkin’ Krew Stampin’ Retreat in Blue Ridge, GA with 11 wonderful projects from my team members to share with you. It was so much fun and a wonderful time of sharing and getting to know each other. We’ve already picked a date for next year! We would love to have you join our team and the event next year. I’d be glad to talk to you about it.

In the meantime, here is one of the projects. It was designed by my wonderful team member, Karen Ksenzakovic at Creative Stamping Designs. Enjoy!

    The Paper Cuts

    • Basic White Cardstock:  1-3/4″ x 3-3/4″ (sentiment), 4″x 5-1/4″ (embossing), and 2″ x 4-1/4″ (bookmark)
    • Sahara Sand Cardstock:  4-1/4″ x 5 1/2″ (card back) and 1-3/8″ x 3-3/8″ (sentiment layer)
    • Peaceful Prints Designer Series Paper: 12″ x 5-1/4″ (card), 2-1/4″ x 6″ (env flap) and 1/2″ x 6″
    • Silver Foil Sheets: two smallest snowflake die cuts from Stitched Snowflake Dies

    The Creating

With the Paper Trimmer, score the 12″ x 5-1/4″ Peaceful Prints DSP at 4″ and 8″. Cut from the top of the 4″ score line, diagonally to the bottom outside left corner. Add Multipurpose Liquid Glue along the bottom edge of the triangle panel and fold in to make the left pocket. Adhere the last panel to the Sahara Sand 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ panel.

Cut the 4″ x 5-1/4″ Basic White in half diagonally. Place the bottom right half in the Wintry 3D snowflake Embossing Folder and run through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. Save the other half for another project. Adhere to the right side of the DSP with liquid glue along the right and bottom edges to form the back pocket.

On the 1-3/4″ x 3-3/4″ Basic White, stamp the sentiment from Encircled in Warmth Stamp Set in Sahara Sand Ink. Cut using the 2nd largest narrow Stitched Rectangle Die. Adhere to the 1-3/8″ x 3-3/8″ Sahara Sand. Pop onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and adhere the snowflake die cuts with a few drops of liquid glue.

On the 2″ x 4-1/4″ Basic White, center and stamp the sentiment from Encircled in Warmth Stamp Set in Sahara Sand Ink. Cut the sentiment with the largest Tailored Made Tags Die and insert an 8 1/2″ piece of black Baker’s Twine, doubled…inserted in the hole…ends through the loop on the other side, to make the bookmark.

Adhere the DSP on the envelope flap and trim the excess with paper snips. Adhere the strip to decorate the front of the envelope. Add the gift card of your choice to the back, right pocket.

Thank you for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed the card! If you have any questions or need a catalog, I’d be very happy to be your Demonstrator.   You can drop me an email at stampdabbles@gmail.com. I’d love to hear from you!

Stampin’ Up! Merriest Moments Christmas Card for the Krew Retreat

I am so excited! I leave tomorrow for a Stampin’ Retreat with 11 other team members from Amy’s Inkin’ Krew in Blue Ridge, GA. As part of our festivities, we are doing a Shoebox Share where we bring card kits for a card we designed for each of the ladies in attendance. We will go home with 11 different cards! How fun! This is the card I made. It features the Merriest Moments Bundle (Merriest Moments Photopolymer Stamp Set + Merriest Frames Hybrid Embossing Folder and 16 coordinating dies) from the July – December 2021 Mini Catalog. I hope you enjoy the card!

    The Paper Cuts

    • Basic White Thick Cardstock:  4 1/4″ x 11”, scored at 5 1/2” (card base)
    • Basic White Cardstock:  4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ (front panel) and 3″ x 5″ (stamping/die cutting)
    • Be Dazzling 6×6 Specialty Paper*: 1″ x 2 1/2″ (die cutting)

    The Creating

I ran the Basic White panel through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine inside the Merriest Frames Hybrid Embossing Folder with the stitched rectangle die in place inside the folder [Be aware: I have seen videos stating the folder is not made to support this rectangle die at the same time as embossing, recommending the embossed image be die cut thereafter. I have found that the die snugs in place and it has not damaged my folder in any way with repeated runs. However, use together at your own risk.]

I placed the embossed panel on the card front, ensuring even margins, and lightly marked the top left and bottom right corners of the die cut opening with a pencil. I then used the marks to line up the stitched rectangle die on the card front, secured it in place with correction tape, and passed it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. There are two stitched rectangle die cuts left – one for the inside of this card and one for another project.

I stamped the sentiment on stitched rectangle die cut in Pear Pizzazz Ink. I stamped the leaves on the envelope with Pear Pizzazz and the poinsettias with Petal Pink Ink. On the Basic White 3″x 5″ panel, I stamped the large and small poinsettias in Petal Pink Ink, and two leafy sprigs and two smaller fir sprigs in Pear Pizzazz. I die cut these with the coordinating dies. I also die cut the small blooms from the Be Dazzling Specialty Paper* from Sale-a-bration.

I adhered the embossed panel to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I inserted the sentiment die cut through the opening on the front of the card so that it was perfectly in place, opened the card front and marked the left edge of the die cut lightly with a pencil. I stamped the images to the left of the mark as shown. All pencil marks were erased. I closed the card front, applied the glue to the back of the sentiment die cut and inserted it through the opening to adhere it into place.

On the front, I popped on the leafy die cuts with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I used a Stampin’ Dimensionals on the lower right corner of the poinsettia and liquid glue where it touched the leaves. I tucked the fir die cuts in, trimming with Paper Snips if needed. I added the sparkly blooms with Mini Glue Dots and embellished with three Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

Thank you for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed the card! If you have any questions or need a catalog, I’d be very happy to be your Demonstrator.   You can drop me an email at stampdabbles@gmail.com. I’d love to hear from you!

Stampin’ Up! Christmas Season Christmas Card

This card is made with the Christmas Season Bundle (Christmas Season Photopolymer Stamp Set + Seasonal Labels Dies) from the July – December 2021 Mini Catalog. I volunteered to create and present a card using this bundle at our upcoming Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Meeting on Sunday. Our team stamps together quarterly via Zoom/FB and it’s lots of fun. It’s my first time presenting, so if you happen to think about me Sunday, say a little prayer all goes smoothly :). If our stampin’ meeting sounds fun and you would like to talk about joining us and getting a discount on your Stampin’ Up! products, drop me an email and I’ll tell you how! Enjoy the card!

    The Paper Cuts

    • Crumb Cake Cardstock:  4 1/4″ x 11”, scored at 5 1/2” (card base) and 3″ x 7″ (stamping/die cutting)
    • Cherry Cobbler Cardstock:  4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ (front panel)
    • Evening Evergreen Cardstock: 1 3/4″ x 5 1/4″ (embossing)
    • Painted Christmas 12×12 DSP: 2 1/4″ x 5 1/4″ (front panel), 1/2″ x 4 1/8″ (inside strip)

    The Creating

I stamped the sentiments with Real Red Ink using the Stamparatus (optional) on the inside of the card and on the Crumb Cake panel. [Tips:  Due to the fine lines of the sentiments, I find the Stamparatus helpful when stamping them on darker colored cardstocks so that they can be stamped twice if needed.  I placed the label die on the cardstock to assist with approximate placement.  It can be fine tuned when die cutting.]

I stamped the leafy image in Soft Succulent Ink on the inside of the card, on the Crumb Cake panel and on the edge of the envelope. I stamped the pine sprigs twice each in Evening Evergreen Ink on the Crumb Cake panel and the envelope. I stamped the pinecone detail image in Early Expresso Ink on the Crumb Cake panel and on the envelope (mask the leafy stamped image if necessary).  I stamped the pinecone overlay in 2nd generation Soft Suede Ink on the envelope and on the Crumb Cake panel.  On the inside of the card base, I stamped 3 berries in Real Red (just ink 3 or you can mask one on the stamp before inking). I repeated on the envelope and the Crumb Cake panel (all 4 berries).

I die cut the images on the cardstock with the coordinating dies and the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.  I used Paper Snips to trim one of the berries from the other three. I also passed the Evening Evergreen panel through the Stampin’ Emboss Machine inside the pine design Wintery 3D Embossing Folder.

I adhered the embossed panel and the DSP panel to the Cherry Cobbler panel leaving the same margin around the outer edges. Then I wrapped the Cherry Cobbler & Gold 1/2” Ribbon around the panel, over the seam, and secured it to the back with Mini Glue Dots.  I adhered the panel to the card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I dry fit the die cuts on the card front.  First, I adhered the pinecone to the card with liquid glue and then made two “bundles” with the remaining elements attaching them together with Mini Glue Dots:  1) the leafy image, a gold holly leaf and a berry, 2) the two pine sprigs, 3 berries and 2 gold holly leaves.  I adhered these to the back of the sentiment label and applied the decorated label to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back to pop it up. I adhered the DSP strip inside the card with liquid glue.

Thank you for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed the card! If you have any questions or need a catalog, I’d be very happy to be your Demonstrator.   You can drop me an email at stampdabbles@gmail.com. I’d love to hear from you!

Stampin’ Up! Evergreen Forest Embossed Christmas Card

To create this traditionally colored Christmas card, I used the Stampin’ Up! Evergreen Forest 3D Embossing Folder from the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog along with the Seasonal Labels Dies, the Christmas to Remember Stamp Set and the Peaceful Cabin Stamp Set from the July – December 2021 Mini Catalog.

    The Paper Cuts

    • Basic White Thick Cardstock: 11″ x 4 1/4″, scored at 5 1/2″ (card base)
    • Basic White Cardstock: die cut from Seasonal Labels Dies
    • Garden Green Cardstock: 5″ x 3 3/4″
    • Real Red Cardstock: die cut from Seasonal Labels Dies
    • Heartwarming Hugs 12×12 DSP: 5 1/4″ x 4″ ( front panel & die cutting)

    The Creating

I placed the Garden Green Cardstock into the Evergreen 3D Embossing Folder and ran it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine between the #1 and #4 plates. I cut the middle sized Seasonal Labels Die from the center of the DSP panel….it’s not exactly centered as it’s just a paper saving technique and won’t be seen.

I stamped the trees from the Peaceful Cabins Stamp Set with Garden Green Ink (I just inked the two that are together) in first and second generations onto the Basic White label die cut, the inside of the card and the envelope. I used Real Red Ink to stamp the sentiment on the inside of the card. With VersaMark Ink, I stamped the sentiment on the Real Red Cardstock die cut, sprinkled on White Stampin’ Emboss Powder (tapping off the excess) and melted it with the Heat Tool.

I adhered the DSP panel, the embossed panel and the DSP die cut label with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. I mounted the stamped label with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The red, sentiment label is adhered with liquid glue on the left edge where it overlaps the stamped label and with Stampin’ Dimensionals on the right end.

Thank you for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed the card! If you have any questions or need a catalog, I’d be very happy to be your Demonstrator.   You can drop me an email at stampdabbles@gmail.com. I’d love to hear from you!

Stampin’ Up! Great Tidings Christmas Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Great Tidings Bundles from the July – December 2021 Mini Catalog for this card. The bundle includes the Great Tidings Cling Stamp Set + Wise Men Tidings Dies. The detail of these stamps begs for wet embossing! If you like to color, you can get quite detailed as the sample on page 15 of the Mini Catalog or you can keep it simple like here. I hope you enjoy the card!

    The Paper Cuts

    • Night of Navy Cardstock: 11″ x 4 1/4″, scored at 5 1/2″ (base)
    • Gold Foil Cardstock: 5″ x 3 3/4″ (front panel)
    • Very Vanilla Cardstock: 4 1/2″ x 3 1/4″ (front layer), 1 3/4″ x 3″ (die cutting) and 5 1/4″ x 4″ (inside panel)
    • Crumb Cake Cardstock: 4 1/2″ x 1 1/2″ (sand) and a Bethlehem die cut
    • Crushed Curry Cardstock: 2 star die cuts

    The Creating

I stamped the “Wise men still seek Him” sentiment in Night of Navy Ink in the top right corner of the Very Vanilla front layer. I used Versa Mark Ink to stamp two wise men in line on the right side and centered vertically, sprinkled them with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (tapping away excess) and melted the powder with the Heat Tool. I stamped the remaining wise man on Very Vanilla Cardstock and repeated the embossing process. I colored the wise men using Misty Moonlight Light and Dark Stampin’ Blends, Olive Green Light and Dark Stampin’ Blends, Dark Mango Melody Stampin’ Blend, Dark Petal Pink Stampin’ Blend and Dark Soft Suede Stampin’ Blend. I ran the separate king through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with the coordinating die. I also passed the Crumb Cake Cardstock strip through with the “snow” die from Cabin Dies in the center to cut it in half.

I used a Blending Brush to apply Night of Navy Ink around the edges of the stamped panel making it darker on the outside and lighter around the images. I also stamped the sentiment and gifts images on the inside panel and on the envelope front. I used a ruler and the Crumb Cake Stampin’ Write Marker to draw a base for the gifts. I added the star on the envelope with Crushed Curry Ink.

To assemble, I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the cardstock panels on the card front and inside. I applied the back layer of the “sand” and the die cuts on the inside with liquid glue. I used Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals for the front star, the top layer of “sand” and the die cut wise man (tucked slightly between the sand layers). I lightly blended a little bit of Night of Navy Ink onto the sand to bring the “night” down. I also added a little Wink of Stella to the gifts in the wise men hands and on the envelope and inside panel.

Thank you for stopping by. If you have any questions or need a catalog, I’d be very happy to be your Demonstrator.   You can drop me an email at stampdabbles@gmail.com. I’d love to hear from you!

Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Cabin Christmas Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Cabin Bundle from the July – Dec 2021 Mini Catalog along with the Peaceful Prints 12″x12″ Designer Series Paper (free with a $50 purchase) from the Aug – Sept Sale-a-bration Brochure. The paper print pairs perfectly with the snowflake embossing folder from the Wintry 3D Embossing Folder set in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog. If you like those vintage cards with all the glitter on them, I think you will like this one. Enjoy!

    The Paper Cuts

    • Basic White Thick Cardstock: 11″ x 4 1/4″, scored at 5 1/2″ (card base)
    • Basic Black Cardstock: 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″ (front panel)
    • Basic White Cardstock: 5 1/4″ x1 7/8″ (front embossed panel) and 5 1/2″ x 2 1/2″ (stamping/die cutting)
    • Garden Green Cardstock: smallest label die cut from Seasonal Labels Dies
    • Peaceful Prints 12″x12″ DSP: 5 1/4″ x 2″ (front panel)

    The Creating

I began by embossing the Basic White front panel with the snowy embossing folder from the Wintry 3D Embossing Folder set. I also embossed the envelope flap to coordinate. With Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive I adhered the embossed panel and the DSP panel to the Basic Black panel.

I stamped the tree image from the Peaceful Cabin Stamp Set with Garden Green Ink onto Basic White Cardstock and die cut it with the coordinating die in Cabin Dies. I attached it to the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I also stamped the trees on the inside panel.

I stamped the front sentiment with VersaMark Ink onto the Garden Green die cut, sprinkled on White Stampin’ Emboss Powder (tapping off the excess) and melted it with the Heat Tool. I applied a strip cut from the edge of my Stampin’ Dimensionals sheet to the bottom of the die and liquid glue to the top to adhere it underneath the trees.

I added the inside sentiment with Tuxedo Black Ink. I glued the black panel to the card base. With Wink of Stella I highlighted the trees and the snow underneath, using the tree die as a guide to “draw” the snow on the inside. So pretty!
