Stampin’ Up! Sweet Ice Cream Birthday Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Sweet Ice Cream Photopolymer Stamp Set from the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog for this card. It is a clean and simple card with cardstock, ink and a little fussy cutting. Don’t worry, it’s quick and easy fussy cutting! Enjoy!

The popsicle colors were inspired by the Sunday Stamps Weekly Challenge: SSC263 BEAUTIFUL BLOOMS. This week is a color challenge requiring a minimum of 3 colors from the graphic below and a neutral of choice. I chose Soft Succulent, Pumpkin Pie, Real Red, Blackberry Bliss and Garden Green with Soft Suede as my neutral. Why not use them all?

The Paper Cuts

  • Basic White Thick Cardstock: 5 1/2″ x 11″, scored at 4 1/4″ (card base)
  • Basic White Cardstock: 4 3/4″ x 3 5/8″ (stamped front panel) and 4″ x 3 1/2″ (fussy cutting)
  • Pumpkin Pie Cardstock: 5″ x 3 7/8″
  • Soft Succulent Cardstock: 5 1/4″ x 4 1/8″ (front panel)

The Creating

The popsicles are made with 4 stamps: the bottom half (straight edge), the top half (rounded edge), the scattered dots image and the popsicle stick. I stamped a row of popsicles across the Basic White front panel in Real Red Ink, Blackberry Bliss Ink and Garden Green Ink. The popsicle sticks are in Soft Suede Ink. Tip: It’s not hard to line the stick up on the popsicle since the stamps are clear, but I did make a mask to ensure I got the popsicle stick the same length and in the same location since the popsicles are in a row. On the Basic White for fussy cutting I stamped a popsicle in Soft Succulent Ink and in Pumpkin Pie Ink along with the Happy Birthday Sentiment in Soft Suede Ink. I fussy cut them with my Paper Snips.

On the inside of the card I stamped a popsicle in Real Red Ink and the Treat Yourself sentiment in Soft Suede. I stamped a popsicle in Blackberry Bliss Ink on the front of the envelope.

I adhered the cardstock layers to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I popped the two fussy cut popsicles on with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Tip: Cut a strip from the edge of the Stampin’ Dimensionals for the popsicle sticks. The fussy cut sentiment has a Stampin’ Dimensionals under the “B” and liquid glue on either side. A few Holiday Basic Rhinestone Jewels were added with the putty tip of the Take Your Pick Tool.

Stampin’ Up! Timeless Tropical Birthday Card with Block Watercolor Stamping for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Welcome to Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop for July! Today we are sharing “Celebrate Summer” projects. You will find links at the bottom of my post to hop you along the way to the other projects. Be sure to visit them all to see how each team member interpreted the theme. I hope you will enjoy what I made for you!

I used the Timeless Tropical Cling Stamp Set from the 2021 -2022 Annual Catalog (page 21) to make this Summer birthday card.  For me, nothing says summer more than a “beachy” sunset. The card is quite simple (no die cuts, embossing or Stampin’ Dimensionals) with the wow factor being the block watercolor stamping technique on Shimmer White Cardstock.

    The Paper Cuts

    • Calypso Coral Cardstock: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″ (card base)
    • Shimmer White Cardstock: two 4″ x 5 1/4″ panel (front and inside)
    • Basic Black Cardstock: 4 1/8″ x 5 3/8″ (front layer)

    The Creating

I began by inking a size D Clear Block with a layer of Bumblebee Ink, Calypso Coral Ink and Misty Moonlight Ink. I then spritzed it with water from a Stampin’ Spritzer. Tip: I recommend holding the spritzer about 12″ from the block. You want to saturate the ink until it breaks up a little, but not so wet it runs. I pressed the block with the colors firmly on one of the Shimmer White panels. I hit it with my Heat Tool on the low setting to speed up the drying process. It needs to be completely dry before stamping the palm trees image in Tuxedo Black Ink.

I stamped the front sentiment and the inside sentiment as well as the palm trees on the inside panel and the Medium Basic White Envelope. I repeated the watercolor block stamping with a size H Clear Block to the inside panel. I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the layers to the card base. The Take Your Pick Tool putty tip was super handy to add three Matte Black Dots for embellishment.

I hope you will give this technique a try if you haven’t already. It’s fun and no two are alike. If you notice, this one has some watercolor speckles (they don’t show up much in the photos, but they are Calypso Coral and are quite nice on the actual card front).

Stampin’ Up! Beauty of Friendship Masculine Birthday Card

This card features the Beauty of Friendship Photopolymer Stamp Set for a woodsy, masculine birthday. It involves a couple of classic stamping techniques to create depth and distance: 1) Fading and 2) Multi-generation Stamping. Enjoy!

    The Paper Cuts

    • Mossy Meadow Cardstock: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″ (card base).
    • Misty Moonlight Cardstock: the 3rd smallest smooth circle from Layering Circles Dies.
    • Vellum Cardstock: 4″ x 5 1/4″ (front layer)
    • Basic White Cardstock: two 4″ x 5 1/4″ panels (stamped front layer and inside), the 2nd smallest smooth circle from Layering Circles Dies, 4th largest Stitched Rectangles die.

    The Creating

I began by stamping the largest tree image (the Step 1 image with the shading built in) with Mossy Meadow Ink. I stamped it once in the center and then a second generation (without inking), slightly overlapping the first, and then a third generation – if the image hasn’t run off the edge of the paper (which creates a line with lighter ink on one side and darker ink on the other side of the image. If it has reink and stamp off twice before going to your card panel). Reink and repeat for the forest on the front panel. I used Blending Brushes to add Misty Moonlight Ink to the top half of the stamped panel (sky) and Mossy Meadow Ink to the bottom of the panel. Here’s what that looked like…you could stop here, glue this to the card base and add a sentiment for a quick and easy card.

On the Stitched Rectangle die cut I stamped the tree trunk in Early Expresso Ink and then added the 2nd Step tree stamp overlapping in First, Second and Third Generation Mossy Meadow Ink. On the inside panel and envelope I stamped the 2nd Step tree image twice in First Generation Ink and then the 1st Step tree image in 2nd Generation Ink (stamping off on scrap paper first) between them. I liked the foggy illusion it gave. I added the Best Wishes sentiment from the Artistically Inked Stamp Set on the smaller Basic White circle. With Misty Moonlight Ink I stamped the sentiment from the Timeless Tropical Stamp Set on the inside panel.

To assemble the card, I used Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive to adhere the front and inside panels to the card base. I aligned the stitched rectangle on top of the vellum, flipped the vellum/rectangle over and applied adhesive on the vellum behind the rectangle before placing the vellum on the stamped front panel. I added the stitched rectangle over the glue with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I applied Stampin’ Dimensionals to the left side of the circle and liquid glue to the right to balance the height evening. I added 3 Misty Moonlight 2020-22 In Color Enamel Dots (no longer available, but the 2020-22 In Color Square Gems would be a great replacement if you don’t have them) with the putty end of the Take Your Pick Tool.

I hope you enjoyed the card…and thanks for your patience because that 1st Generation, 2nd Generation and 1st Step, 2nd Step stuff can get confusing! If you have any questions or need a catalog, I’d be very happy to be your Demonstrator.   You can drop me an email at stampdabbles@gmail.com. I’d love to hear from you!

Stampin’ Up! Pansy Patch Fun Fold Birthday Card

This is such a fun, cute and easy fun fold. I have seen several, but it was Demonstrator Tammy Beard, who’s card inspired the making. It features the Pansy Patch Bundle along with the coordinating Pansy Petals 12″x12″ Designer Series Paper which is going on sale July 1st at 15% off! There is more about the upcoming Designer Series Paper Sale below. In the meantime enjoy the card! I hope you give it a try.

    The Paper Cuts

    • Fresh Freesia Cardstock: 4 1/4″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 5 1/2″ (card front/inside card – opens left), 3″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″ (card base w/panel – opens right) and two Pansy Dies single petals die cuts.
    • Evening Evergreen Cardstock: 3 1/4″ x 4 1/2″ (front/inside layer) and 2 Pansy Dies large leaf die cuts.
    • Pansy Patch 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper: two 4″ x 2 3/4″, 1/2″ x 3 3/4″, and 1/4″ x 2 1/2″ all in different patterns. I chose one of the patterns for the envelope flap: 5 3/4″ x 2 1/4″.
    • Blackberry Bliss Cardstock: a large petal trim die cut, two small petal trim die cuts, and a pansy “beard” die cut from Pansy Dies.
    • Bumblebee Cardstock: a pansy center die cut from Pansy Dies (it cuts 3 but you will only use one on this card).
    • Basic White Cardstock: a large petal die cut from Pansy Dies, the 2nd smallest Stitched So Sweetly Dies scallop label and two 4″ x 2 3/4″ panels (for stamping/writing).

    The Creating

I began by adhering the pansy pieces together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue…just little dots along the edges of the petal trim pieces and at the base of the leaves, smaller petals, “beard” and center. I applies Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back so it would be ready to go.

Next I stamped the sentiments from Pansy Patch Photopolymer Stamp Set on the Stitched So Sweetly die cut and horizontally centered on one of the Basic White panels with Evening Evergreen Ink. On the remains panel, vertically, I added the small pansy in the lower right corner with Fresh Freesia, Blackberry Bliss, Bumblebee and Evening Evergreen Inks.

To assemble the card, I used Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive to adhere the Evening Evergreen panel centered on the larger (left) side of the Fresh Freesia card base w/panel. Then I added the Fresh Freesia card front/inside centered on it. I also added the stamped Basic White panels and the card base and card front DSP panels. I added the larger DSP strip to the bottom edge (after slanting the ends with my Paper Snips), added the sentiment label and topped it with the remaining smaller DSP strip.

Now to add the gorgeous die cut pansy! One tip…don’t place it too close to the edge of the fold or the card front won’t open fully. Then to embellish, I added 3 Evening Evergreen 2021-23 In Color Jewels with the putty end of the Take Your Pick Tool. The card fits into a standard Basic White Medium Envelope which I adhered a piece of coordinating DSP to and trimmed away the excess with Paper Snips.

I hope you enjoy the card. If you have any questions or need a catalog, I’d be very happy to be your Demonstrator.   You can drop me an email at stampdabbles@gmail.com. I’d love to hear from you!

Stampin’ Up! Batik Boutique Birthday Card for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Welcome to Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop for June! Today we are sharing Birthday projects. You will find links at the bottom of my post to hop you along the way to the other projects. Be sure to visit them all to see how each team member interpreted the theme in what they made for you. I hope you will enjoy what I made!

I used the Batik Boutique Bundle from the 2021 -2022 Annual Catalog (page 114) to make this Happy Birthday card.  The Batik Boutique Photopolymer Stamp Set (11 stamps) and the Batik Dies (9 dies) are discounted 10% when purchased together (#158362).  The stamp set is Two-Step Stamping which means that there are stamps that fill in color inside of the outline stamps which is also why it is photopolymer to allow us to line the images up (and these line up super easy). At the end of the blog you can find links to all the products used in the making.

    The Paper Cuts

    • Bumblebee Cardstock: 4 1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5 1/2″ (card base) and 3″ x 2 1/4″ (floral outline).
    • 2020-2022 In Color 6″x6″ Designer Series Paper Assortment (Bumblebee): 4″ x 5 1/4″ (front panel), 2″ x 2 1/4″ (scallop floral accent) and 4″ x 1/2″ (inside strip).
    • Night of Navy Cardstock: 2nd largest die cut from Stitched Rectangle Dies and 4″ x 2″ (floral detail).
    • Basic White Cardstock:  3nd largest die cut from Stitched Rectangle Dies and 4” x 5 1/4” (inside panel).
    • Misty Moonlight Cardstock:  4″ x 2″ (floral detail)
    • Pear Pizzazz Cardstock: 2″ x 2″ (leaves)

    The Creating

I began by die cutting and assembling the floral image. I cut the large floral outline die in Bumblebee and the large detailed floral die and the tulip die in both Night of Navy and Misty Moonlight. I also cut the scallop floral accent die from Bumblebee DSP.

I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue and my Silicone Craft Sheet for all the adhering…first the navy outline to the yellow base, then the navy centers to the base just at the inside corner which allowed for some lift at the floral edge, and then the blue small accent pieces. The Take Your Pick Tool Putty Tip is super handy to maneuver the smaller pieces, or you could use the Press & Seal Method if you prefer. Once the glue was dry I used the pointy end of the Take Your Pick Tool to lift and curl the outer edges of the navy pieces for the dimension. Next I adhered the navy tulip outline to the yellow DSP, added the blue pieces and then added it to the larger portion (I did not line up the bottom edges of the two pieces, but placed the top one a little lower to allow more room for the petals to pop out).

With Pear Pizzazz Ink, I stamped the leaf outline image on Pear Pizzazz Cardstock and cut it out with the coordinating die. I added these to the floral image with Mini Glue Dots. I positioned the tag on the Basic White Stitched Rectangle die cut for spacing perspective and stamped the sentiments from Create With Friends Photopolymer Stamp Set (page 36, 17 stamps) with Night of Navy Ink

With Night of Navy Ink, I stamped he sentiment from Artistically Inked Cling Stamp Set (page 97,12 stamps) on the Basic White inside panel, and also added the floral outline stamp on the lower left corner and on the Basic White Medium Envelope. With Misty Moonlight Ink and Bumblebee Ink I stamped the coordinating 2nd Step images inside the floral outline. I added the DSP strip and the inside panel to the card base with liquid glue.

To complete the card front I added the DSP panel to the card base, and the white stitched rectangle to the navy stitched rectangle, with liquid glue. I popped the navy stitched rectangle and the floral tag up with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a Crushed Curry Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewel to the floral image (on the tulip) and three Night of Navy ones around the sentiment. So pretty!

Stampin’ Up! Sweet Ice Cream Birthday Card

I used the Sweet Ice Cream Bundle from the January to June 2021 Mini Catalog (page 49) for this fun birthday card. The bundle includes the Sweet Ice Cream Photopolymer Stamp Set and the Ice Cream Builder Punch at a 10% discount when purchased together (item no. 156244). Enjoy!

    The Paper Cuts

    • Thick Basic White Cardstock: 4 1/4″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 5 1/2″ (card base)
    • Basic White Cardstock: largest scallop rectangle die cut from Stitched So Sweetly Dies.
    • True Love 12×12 Designer Series Paper: 5 1/2″ x 4″ (front panel and inside strip)
    • Bermuda Bay Cardstock: 1 1/2” x 2” (ice cream scoop)
    • Blackberry Bliss Cardstock:  1 1/2″ x 2″ (ice cream scoop)
    • Pumpkin Pie Cardstock: 3″ x 2″ (ice cream cones)

    The Creating

I began by coloring the white stripes in the True Love Designer Series Paper panel with Stampin’ Blends: Pumpkin Pie Dark, Blackberry Bliss Light, and Bermuda Bay Light. I colored a 17″ piece of White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon with the Bermuda Bay Light Stampin’ Blend. I trimmed 1/4″ off the long edge of the panel. I adhered the panel to the card front and the strip to the inside bottom edge with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

With the Ice Cream Cone Builder Punch, I punched two cones from Pumpkin Pie Cardstock and an ice cream scoop from Bermuda Bay Cardstock and from Blackberry Bliss Cardstock. With VersaMark Ink, I added the cross hatch image to the cones and the sprinkles to the Bermuda Bay ice cream scoop. I used Whisper White Craft Ink to add the sprinkles to the Blackberry Bliss ice cream scoop. I hit the images with the Heat Tool to ensure the ink was dry. I applied liquid glue across the top edge of the cones and topped with the ice cream scoops. I added Wink of Stella to the sprinkles for a little sparkle. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals (top) and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (point of cone) to the backs of the cones.

I stamped the sentiment on the Stitched So Sweetly panel with Tuxedo Black Ink and tied the colored ribbon around the panel with a bow. I popped the ice cream cones on over the ribbon and added the decorated die cut to the front panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

With Bermuda Bay Ink, I stamped “Happy Birthday” on the inside of the card and an ice cream scoop on the front of the Basic White Medium Envelope. I masked the ice cream scoop and stamped the cone image in 2nd Generation Pumpkin Pie Ink and the crosshatch image in 1st Generation Pumpkin Pie Ink. I added the “Hope It’s Sweet” inside the card with Tuxedo Black Ink.

Stampin’ Up! Butterfly Brilliance Collection Birthday Card

Confession…I’m not especially fond of butterflies. Pleasant surprise….I love the new Butterfly Brilliance Collection. The images in the Butterfly Brilliance Stamp are beautifully detailed and varied, plus they have soft lines and shading which create wonderful depth and coloring. The Brilliant Wings Dies coordinate to cut 1 to 6 (at once) butterflies either stamped or from the awesome Butterfly Bijou 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper. The stamp and die bundle is carrying over into the new 2021-22 Annual Catalog, but the beautiful DSP is only available until May 3rd. Details are at the end of the post. I hope you enjoy the card! Happy Easter to you and yours!

    The Paper Cuts

    • Basic White Thick Cardstock: 4 1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5 1/2″ (card base) and 2 1/4″ x 1 3/4″ (label)
    • Butterfly Bijou Designer Series Paper: 4″ x 5 1/4″ (front), 5 3/4″ x 2 3/8″ (env), 1/4″ x 5 1/4″ (inside), and the die cut butterfly.

    The Creating

    • With Just Jade Ink, I stamped the Happy Birthday from the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set on the small white cardstock and then passed it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with the die from Tasteful Labels Dies.
    • I cut the Just Jade butterfly from the Butterfly Bijou DSP with the coordinating die from the Brilliant Wings Dies.
    • I stamped the inside greeting from the Peaceful Moments Stamp Set with Just Jade Ink.
    • I adhered the front DSP panel, the stamped label, the DSP strip, and the larger strip to the envelope flap with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. I used my Paper Snips to trim the excess paper from the envelope flap.
    • The butterfly is popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
    • The putty end of the Take Your Pick Tool helped me lift and place 3 Pearl Basic Jewels to embellish the card front.

Stampin’ Up! Dandy Garden Birthday Card

Whenever I need a quick and easy card, I find myself reaching for the So Sentimental Bundle from the 2020-21 Annual Catalog. The So Sentimental Stamp Set is on the Last Chance Products list and as of noon today was still in stock. The Stitched So Sweetly Dies will carry forward, but the bundled savings will go away. So hurry over to the store if it’s one you want. It’s a great combination of sentiments and dies!

    The Paper Cuts

    • Misty Moonlight Cardstock: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″ (card base)
    • Basic White Cardstock: Two 5 1/4″ x 4″ panels (front & inside) and 2 1/4″ x 2 3/4″ (sentiment label)
    • Bumblebee Cardstock: 3 3/4″ x 2 1/2″ (die cut layer)
    • Dandy Garden Designer Series Paper: 2 patterns cut at 1 7/8″ x 5 1/8″ (front), 5 3/4″ x 2 3/8″ (env) and 1/4″ x 5 1/4″ (inside)

    The Creating

    • With Misty Moonlight Ink, I stamped Happy Birthday from the Happy Thoughts Stamp Set on the small white cardstock and then ran it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with the die from Stitched So Sweetly Dies. I cut the larger die from Stitched So Sweetly Dies from the Bumblebee Cardstock and then adhered the two labels together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
    • I stamped the inside greeting from the So Sentimental Stamp Set one of the white panels and adhered it to the inside of the card base, adding the decorative strip of Dandy Garden DSP.
    • I adhered the two DSP panels to the remaining white panel. I applied a little Stampin’ Seal+ to the back of the panel on either side (opposite where the two DSP panels meet) and wrapped a 6″ piece of Misty Moonlight Ribbon around the DSP seam so that the ends were secured by the Stampin’ Seal+ on the back. I added this panel to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
    • The labels layer is popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals and sport three Misty Moonlight 2020-2022 In Color Enamel Dots. The putty end of the Take Your Pick Tool makes lifting them from the package and placing them on the card super easy.
    • I adhered the final strip of DSP to the envelope flap with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and trimmed the excess away with Paper Snips.

Stampin’ Up! Handsomely Dressed Bowtie Birthday Card

I used the Handsomely Dressed Bundle from the January – June 2021 Mini Catalog to make this card. The original design is from Demonstrator, Tina Rappe at the stampinstudio.com, but I put a different twist on the colors. I live in a State where crimson and gray are cherished 😉 Do you know where the Designer Series Paper is from? You will find instructions and all the links for the supplies I used below.

    The Paper Cuts

    • Basic White Thick Cardstock: 4 1/4″ x 11″scored at 5 1/2″ (card base)and the 2nd largest circle die from Stitched Shapes Dies
    • Real Red Cardstock: 4″ x 5 1/4″ panel and 1 3/4″ x 1″ (to die cut the bowtie)
    • Playful Pets Designer Series Paper: 3 3/4″ x 2″ (top panel)
    • Peony Garden Designer Series Paper: 3 3/4″ x 3″ (bottom panel), 4 1/8″ x 1/2″ (inside) and 5 3/4″ x 2 3/8″ (envelope flap)
    • Basic Gray Cardstock: 2nd largest smooth edged circle die cut from Layering Circles Dies.

    The Creating

    • With Tuxedo Black Ink, stamp the birthday greeting from Handsomely Suited Stamp Set on the stitched circle die cut. Also stamp the bowtie on the smaller Real Red piece of cardstock and die cut it with the coordinating die from Suit and Tie Dies. I adhered this to the stitched circle with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
    • Adhere the two DSP panels to the larger Real Red panel. I wrapped a 5″ piece of Black/White Baker’s Twine from Playful Pets Trim Combo Pack between the panels and secured with tape on the back. I then used Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere to the card front.
    • I used Stampin’ Dimensionals to pop the decorated circle die cut to the card.
    • The inside greeting from Happy Thoughts Stamp Set is stamped in Basic Gray Ink.
    • I adhered the small DSP strip to the inside of the card and the larger to the envelope flap, trimming the excess away with my Paper Snips.

If you need any stamping supplies, I’d be very happy to be your Demonstrator.  Just click on the links above or the shop image on on the right side of the screen to go directly to my online store or drop me an email me at stampdabbles@gmail.com. I’d love to hear from you.

Stampin’ Up! A Touch of Ink – 4 Days of Sale-A-Bration Left

I used A Touch of Ink Photopolymer Stamp Set from the Jan – 28 Feb 2021 Sale-A-Bration Brochure for this card. This set is a mega set with two sheets of stamps including two step stamping and greetings. It is free with a $100 retail purchase during Sale-A-Bration which ends Sunday, February 28, 2021. There are more details about Sale-A-Bration at the bottom of the post.

    The Paper Cuts

    • Thick Basic White Cardstock: 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″ (card base)
    • Gold Foil Sheets: 4″ x 5 1/4″ (Tip: I cut the middle out with the 3rd largest Stitched Rectangle to use on another project).
    • Vellum Cardstock: 2″ x 2 1/4″
    • Basic Black Cardstock: 3 3/4″ x 1″
    • True Love Designer Series Paper: 3 3/4″ x 5″ (front), 5 1/4″ x 1/2″ (for inside) and 5 3/4″ x 2 3/8″ (env)

    The Creating

    • Stamp the butterfly image from A Touch of Ink Photopolymer Stamp Set on the Vellum Cardstock with VersaMark Ink. Sprinkle with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and melt with the Heat Tool. Add Wink of Stella to the wings, if desired. Fussy cut with Paper Snips leaving a narrow border.
    • Stamp the greeting from A Touch of Ink Photopolymer Stamp Set on the Basic Black Cardstock with VersaMark Ink. Sprinkle with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder and melt with the Heat Tool.
    • Stamp “Happy Birthday” from Happy Thoughts Cling Stamp Set with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on the inside of the card.
    • Adhere the layers to the card front and inside with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I only added the glue to the body of the butterfly which allows the wings to curl off the card about 1/8″. It will easily slide into the envelope, be flat for mailing and resume the curl when removed.
    • Add 3 Gold Glitter Enamel Dots to embellish the card front.
    • Adhere the 1/2″ strip of the True Love Designer Series Paper to the inside edge of the card and the larger piece to a Basic White Medium Envelope flap with Mutlipurpose Liquid Glue. Trim excess DSP from the envelope with Paper Snips.

I hope you enjoyed this card. There are links down below for the products used.
