Stampin’ Up! Many Mates & Forever Greenery Thinking of You Card

This card is made with the retiring Many Mates Stamp Set, Many Medallions Dies and Stitched Shapes Dies from the 2020-2021 Annual Catalog. I was playing around and wondered what the Many Medallions Dies would look like on a pattern paper instead of solid cardstock. I’m not disappointed…except I wish I had discovered it for St. Patrick’s Day! The green and the medallion looks a little Celtic! Enjoy.

The Paper Cuts

  • Garden Green Cardstock: 4 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 5 1/2″ (card base) and the 2nd largest Stitched Shapes Dies square.
  • Forever Greenery Designer Series Paper: Many Medallions Dies large die cut (front), an additional row from the same die (inside), and 5 3/4″ x 2 3/8″ (envelope)
  • Basic White Cardstock: 3nd largest Stitched Shapes Dies square (sentiment) and a 5 1/4″ x 4″ panel (inside)

The Creating

  • I stamped the “Just Thinking of You” sentiment from the Many Mates Stamp Set on the Basic White Stitched Shapes Dies square with Garden Green Ink. I adhered it with Multipurpose Liquid Glue onto the Garden Green Stitched Shapes square.
  • I adhered the large Many Medallions die cut to the card front with liquid glue and centered the sentiment tag on top with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • For the inside, I first adhered the white panel. Then, I trimmed the single row die cut from the large Many Medallions die with my Paper Snips so that only the inner design was left. I adhered it onto the bottom edge of the inside white panel.
  • I applied the remaining DSP strip to the Basic White Medium Envelope flap with liquid glue and trimmed the excess with my Paper Snips. Don’t you love a matching set?

Stampin’ Up! Heartfelt Medallions Valentine Card

Tonight’s card features the Heartfelt Bundle and the Many Medallions Dies from the 2020-21 Annual Catalog. I couldn’t resist sneaking in the Resin Hearts Embellishments from the upcoming January – June Mini Catalog. Enjoy!

The Paper Cuts

  • Whisper White Thick Cardstock: 11″ x 4 1/4″, scored at 5 1/2″ for the card base and two 2 1/4″ x 2 1/4″ pieces or the heart punches.
  • Basic Black Cardstock: 5 1/2″ x 4 1/4″ and 3/4″ x 4″ for the medallion die cuts.

The Creating

  • Run the Basic Black Cardstock and the Many Medallion Dies thought the Stampin’ and Emboss Machine. Lay each die cut, in turn, face down on the Silicone Craft Mat. Squeeze a quarter size dollop of Multipurpose Liquid Glue on the corner of the mat, dip in 1/4 of a Stampin’ Sponge and apply to the edges and center of the dies. Adhere to the front and inside of the card base.
  • Tie the Whisper White faux linen ribbon from the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack around the end of the card and tie in a bow.
  • Stamp the red heart in Real Red Ink and the lace heart in Tuxedo Black Ink. Punch with the coordinating punches from the Hearts Punch Pack. Adhere the red one on top of the lace heart with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Pop onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Apply three (3) red Resin Hearts Embellishments (available January 5, 2021) on the card front.
  • Stamp the greeting and heart on the inside of the card and the arrow on the envelope flap.

Note: I recommend the Stamparatus when stamping solid fill stamps such as the Happy Valentine’s heart and also when adding two images closely together like the inside of this card. It makes it so much easier and correctible if something goes awry 😉
