Stampin’ Up! Christmas Rose Gate Fold Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Christmas Rose Bundle to create this Gate Fold card with the beautiful Christmastime Is Here Specialty Designer Series Paper. These products will be available for customer to order beginning Friday, November 1st while supplies last. These products are absolutely stunning and very simple to create with. The only stamping on this card is the sentiment. The new Stampin’ Up! Paper Trimmer will also be available for customers on Friday, November 1st for $25. Details and links to purchase on Nov 1 are posted below.

I used the Roses Dies to cut the double rose image from the Designer Series Paper and to cut two of the scroll corners from a Gold Foil Sheet. I used a Cherry Cobbler cardstock base that was 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ scored 2 1/8″ from each side. The two green DSP panels are cut at 1 7/8″ x 5 1/4″. The red and gold diamond DSP is cut at 3 1/2″ x 4 1/2″. The inside panel is 4 x 5 1/4″ from Whisper White.

I love the way the pattern on the back of the red diamond DSP
pulls the colors together on the inside of the card.

I popped the large rose cut out with Stampin’ Dimensionals and used Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive to glue the pieces together. Tip: lay the red diamond piece upside down where it will “live” on the card to apply the adhesive to one side to ensure it only adheres to the card panel where it should to open and close. The Silicone Mat also came in handy to catch excess glue when applying to the small scroll corners. I stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set in Cherry Cobbler.
