Stampin’ Up! Sparkle of the Season Fall Foliage Miss You Card

I used the Sparkle of the Season Bundle (Sparkle of the Season Photopolymer Stamp Set + Seasonal Swirls Dies) from the July-December 2021 Mini Catalog and the Beauty of Friendship Bundle (Beauty of Friendship Photopolymer Stamp Set + Beautiful Trees Dies) from the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog to make this Fall foliage card. I love trees in any season and I love the colors of Fall. As a Southerner my Falls were brief…going quickly to dry brown, but I moved to the Northeast in my 20s and Oh!My! a whole month of beautiful color! I even tried to send preserved Fall leaves home to my parents to share the beauty. I hope you enjoy the card I’m sharing with you tonight!

The Paper Cuts

  • Soft Suede Cardstock: 4-1/4″x 11″, scored at 5-1/2″ (card base) and a tree trunk die cut from Beautiful Trees Dies.
  • Pumpkin Pie Cardstock: 3-1/2″ x 4-7/8″ (front layer) and 10 leaf die cuts (there are 2 leaves per die cut) from Seasonal Swirls Dies.
  • Calypso Coral Cardstock: 10 leaf die cuts (there are 2 leaves per die cut) from Seasonal Swirls Dies.
  • Bumblebee Cardstock: 10 leaf die cuts (there are 2 leaves per die cut) from Seasonal Swirls Dies.
  • Basic White Cardstock: 2nd largest Stitched Rectangle Dies diecut, Tasteful Labels die cut, and 3-3/4″ x 5″ (inside panel)

The Creating

I began by stamping the triple leaf image from the Sparkle of the Season Photopolymer Stamp Set in Pumpkin Pie, Calypso Coral and Bumblebee Inks onto the Stitched Rectangle die cut to fill in the tree top and the ground cover. I occasionally placed the tree die cut on the rectangle to gage placement. I repeated the leaves on the bottom edge of the envelope and inside panel. I then used a Blending Brush to apply Bumblebee and Pumpkin Pie Ink to these areas.

In Soft Suede Ink, I stamped the tree base from Beauty of Friendship Photopolymer Stamp Set (on the Stitched Rectangle) and the sentiment from the Art Gallery Photopolymer Stamp Set (onto the Tasteful Labels die cut).

To assemble, I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue on the panels and leaves. I popped up the sentiment with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stampin’ Up! Pretty Pumpkins “Giving Thanks” Card for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Welcome to Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop for October! Today we are sharing “Giving Thanks” projects. At the bottom of my post you will find links to hop along the way to my teammate’s projects. Be sure to visit them all to see how each interpreted the theme. I hope you like what I made for you!

I used the Pretty Pumpkins Bundle (Pretty Pumpkins Cling Stamp Set + Detailed Pumpkins Dies) from the July – December 2021 Mini Catalog (page 48) to make this “Giving Thanks” card.  The fonts in this set are so pretty and the dies are incredible! Enjoy the card…

    The Paper Cuts

    • Pumpkin Pie Cardstock: 11″ x 4-1/4″, scored at 5-1/2″ (card base)
    • Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper: largest die cut from Stitched Rectangle Dies
    • Brushed Metallic Cardstock: 2nd largest die cut from Stitched Rectangle Dies
    • Basic White Cardstock: 5-1/4″ x 4″ (inside panel), the 3rd largest die cut from Stitched Rectangle Dies and 3″ x 3″ (stamping/die cutting)
    • Mossy Meadow Cardstock: 1 of each of the pumpkin leaves dies from Detailed Pumpkin Dies
    • Cork Specialty Paper: 4″ x 3/4″

    The Creating

I began by stamping the pumpkin trio and the smaller blossom image onto the 3″ x 3″ Basic White cardstock with Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored the image with Light and Dark Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends, Light Mango Melody Stampin’ Blend, Light and Dark Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends, Light Cajun Craze Stampin’ Blend, and Light and Dark Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends. I then die cut the images with the coordinating dies and the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.

I stamped the pumpkin trio image with Pumpkin Pie Ink on the lower left corner of the Basic White inside panel and the Basic White Medium Envelope. I added a little Wink of Stella to the leaves for some sparkle! I also stamped the “so thankful for you” sentiment on the top right corner of the Basic White Stitched Rectangle die cut in Early Expresso Ink.

With Multipurpose Liquid Glue, I adhered the DSP panel, the bronze Brushed Metallic Cardstock panel, the Basic White Stitched Rectangle and the Cork strip to the card front. I popped up the pumpkin trio die cut with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the blossom image with liquid glue where it touches the pumpkins and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals where it touches the cork. The die cut leaves and the inside panel are adhered with liquid glue.

Stampin’ Up! Frightfully Cute Easel Card

This precious easel card is created with the Frightfully Cute Cling Stamp Set from the July – December 2021 Mini Catalog. It was designed by Inkin’ Krew team member, Gloria Goller. I love that she used non-traditional Halloween colors and the Black & White Gingham Ribbon! She also made us a sweet treat holder that you can see at the end of the blog. Enjoy!

    The Paper Cuts

    • Flirty Flamingo Cardstock:  4-1/4″ x 11″ (card base)
    • Basic Black Cardstock:  3-1/4″ x 4-1/4″ (front panel)
    • Basic White Cardstock: 3″ x 4″ (inside), the smallest die cut from Stitched Rectangle Dies, and the smallest die cut from Layering Circles Dies
    • Cute Halloween 6″x6″ Designer Series Paper: 3″ x 4″ (front panel) and 5-3/4″ x 2-1/4″ (env)
    • Black Glitter Paper: 2-1/4″ x 1/2″

    The Creating

With the Paper Trimmer, score the 4-1/4″ x 11″ Flirty Flamingo along the long edge at 2-3/4″ and 5 1/2″. Reinforce the folds with a Bone Folder. Splatter both sides with the Black Stampin’ Write Marker by flicking the brush tip from the inside of the cap edge, outward toward the cardstock. Add splatter to one side of the 3″ x 4″ Basic White panel and with Tuxedo Black Ink, stamp a bat in the top left and lower right corners. Stamp “Happy Halloween to you” on the Stitched Rectangle die cut, “batty for you” on the circle die cut, and three bats on the envelope front.

To assemble the card, adhere the 3″ x 4″ DSP (Bats) to the black panel. Apply adhesive to the lower half of the black panel and center it on the Flirty Flamingo card front (the adhesive should only be below the score line). Pop the stitched rectangle on with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Add a Black & White 1/4″ Gingham Ribbon bow with a Mini Glue Dot.

Adhere the stamped Basic White panel to the inside. Add the Black Glitter strip with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the sentiment circle die cut with a Stampin’ Dimensionals. Embellish the inside panel with three Cute Stars Adhesive-backed Sequins. Adhere the DSP (skulls & ghosts) on the envelope flap with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and trim the excess with Paper Snips.

And, here’s the awesome treat box that Gloria made to hold a Mini Moon Pie! So cute! And yummy, too!

Thank you for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed the card! If you have any questions or need a catalog, I’d be very happy to be your Demonstrator.   You can drop me an email at stampdabbles@gmail.com. I’d love to hear from you!

Stampin’ Up! Pattern Play Fall Birthday Card

The star of this card is the Pattern Play 12″ x 12″ Host Designer Series Paper with the falling leaves that are colored in. This paper pack surprised me with the amount of seasonal variety (12 double-sided designs), the amount of sheets (48 sheets) and the paper quality (it’s a nice weight DSP). It is available for $18 of Stampin’ Rewards to Hosts. To be a Host, an order (either from an individual or a group of individuals under a single workshop host code) must be at least $150. The Host earns a percentage of the order back in Host Rewards, as well as qualifies for exclusive products, like this one, for which the Stampin’ Rewards can be redeemed. If you would like more information on hosting a workshop, please drop me an email. I’d love to provide you more information on the perks and answer your questions! In the meantime, enjoy the card!

    The Paper Cuts

    • Basic Black Cardstock:  8 1/2” x 5 1/2”, scored at 4 1/4” (card base)
    • Bumblebee Cardstock:  die cut of the larger of the wide Stitched Rectangle Dies (approx 3 3/4″ x 1 3/4″) and 5″ x 3 3/4″ (inside panel)
    • Pattern Play 12×12 Host Designer Series Paper: 5 1/4″ x 3 3/4″ (front panel & inside strip) and 6″ x 2 1/4″ (envelope)

    The Creating

I used Stampin’ Blends Markers in So Saffron, Cherry Cobbler, Pumpkin Pie and Cajun Craze to color in the larger leaves in the pattern. With the matching color ink pads plus Soft Suede, I used a Sponge Dauber (one for each color) dipped into the stamp pad ink to fill in the smaller leaves. This made it go super quick and added depth and texture.

I stamped the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Sweet Ice Cream Photopolymer Stamp Set onto the Stitched Rectangle die cut with Tuxedo Black Ink. I also added the inside greeting from the Peaceful Moments Cling Stamp Set.

I used my Paper Trimmer to trim 1/4″ of the long edge of the colored DSP front panel to adhere along the bottom edge of the inside panel. I popped the Stitched Rectangle die cut up with Stampin’ Dimensional, with the other layers adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I trimmed the excess DSP from the Very Vanilla Medium Envelope flap with my Paper Snips and also fussy cut a leaf from the excess colored DSP to embellish the inside panel. I added three adhesive-backed Matte Black Dots with the putty end of the Take Your Pick Tool.

Thank you for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed the card! If you have any questions or need a catalog, I’d be very happy to be your Demonstrator.   You can drop me an email at stampdabbles@gmail.com. I’d love to hear from you!

Stampin’ Up! Nature’s Harvest Thank You Card

I created this card with the Nature’s Harvest Bundle which includes the Nature’s Harvest Stamp Set + the Harvest Dies from the July – December 2021 Mini Catalog. Enjoy!

    The Paper Cuts

    • Basic White Thick Cardstock:  8 1/2” x 5 1/2”, scored at 4 1/4” (card base)
    • Basic White Cardstock:  4th smallest Stitched Rectangle die cut and 2 1/2″ x 5″ (stamping/die cutting)
    • Misty Moonlight Cardstock:  largest Stitched So Sweetly die cut
    • Soft Suede Cardstock: two wheat die cuts from Harvest Dies.
    • 2020-22 In Color 6×6 Designer Series Paper Assortment: 4″ x 5 1/4″ of Bumblebee

    The Creating

I stamped the coneflower image from the Nature’s Harvest Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink on Basic White Cardstock, a Basic White Medium Envelope and the inside of the Basic White Thick card base. I colored them with Stampin’ Blends: Mango Melody, Old Olive and Soft Suede. I stamped the Thank You sentiment in Misty Moonlight Ink on the Basic White Cardstock. I die cut the coneflower with the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and fussy cut the sentiment with Paper Snips.

I adhered the Stitched Rectangle die cut to the Stitched So Sweetly die cut and popped on the die cut coneflowers with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I applied the fussy cut sentiment with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I dry fit the decorated panel on the card front with the wheat die cuts (I decided to trim one stem off) and then adhered them into position. To embellish I added three adhesive-backed gold Metallic Pearls with the putty end of the Take Your Pick Tool.

Thank you for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed the card! If you have any questions or need a catalog, I’d be very happy to be your Demonstrator.   You can drop me an email at stampdabbles@gmail.com. I’d love to hear from you!

Stampin’ Up! Sweet Strawberry Fall Leaves Card

I created this Fall card with a variety of stamp sets that you wouldn’t expect to go together…the leaves are from the Sweet Strawberry Photopolymer Stamp Set, the sentiments from the Encircled in Friendship Cling Stamp Set and the Designer Series Paper is part of the Beauty of Friendship Collection, but they make a great card!  Don’t be afraid to mix and match!

    The Paper Cuts

    • Early Expresso Cardstock:  8 1/2” x 5 1/2”, scored at 4 1/4” (card base)
    • Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper:  5 1/4” x 4” (front panel)
    • Basic White Cardstock:  3rd smallest Stitched Rectangle die cut,   2 1/2″ x 4″ (for stamping/punching) and 5 1/4” x 4” (inside panel)

    The Creating

The leaves are Two-Step Stamping with a detail stamp (1st generation ink) and a fill stamp (2nd generation ink).  On Basic White Card, I stamped two Soft Suede leaves and one each of Pumpkin Pie, Bumblebee and Cajun Craze.  I punched these out with the coordinating Strawberry Builder Punch.

I stamped a Pumpkin Pie, Bumblebee and Soft Suede leaf on the inside panel and on the envelope.  I added the sentiment on the inside panel with Early Expresso Ink.  I stamped the sentiment on the Stitched Rectangle die cut with Early Expresso Ink and then ran it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine inside the Timber Embossing Folder.

The DSP and inside panels are adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.  The label and punched leaves are popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Thank you for stopping by. I hope you enjoyed the card! If you have any questions or need a catalog, I’d be very happy to be your Demonstrator.   You can drop me an email at stampdabbles@gmail.com. I’d love to hear from you!

Stampin’ Up! Batik Boutique Birthday Card for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Welcome to Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop for June! Today we are sharing Birthday projects. You will find links at the bottom of my post to hop you along the way to the other projects. Be sure to visit them all to see how each team member interpreted the theme in what they made for you. I hope you will enjoy what I made!

I used the Batik Boutique Bundle from the 2021 -2022 Annual Catalog (page 114) to make this Happy Birthday card.  The Batik Boutique Photopolymer Stamp Set (11 stamps) and the Batik Dies (9 dies) are discounted 10% when purchased together (#158362).  The stamp set is Two-Step Stamping which means that there are stamps that fill in color inside of the outline stamps which is also why it is photopolymer to allow us to line the images up (and these line up super easy). At the end of the blog you can find links to all the products used in the making.

    The Paper Cuts

    • Bumblebee Cardstock: 4 1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5 1/2″ (card base) and 3″ x 2 1/4″ (floral outline).
    • 2020-2022 In Color 6″x6″ Designer Series Paper Assortment (Bumblebee): 4″ x 5 1/4″ (front panel), 2″ x 2 1/4″ (scallop floral accent) and 4″ x 1/2″ (inside strip).
    • Night of Navy Cardstock: 2nd largest die cut from Stitched Rectangle Dies and 4″ x 2″ (floral detail).
    • Basic White Cardstock:  3nd largest die cut from Stitched Rectangle Dies and 4” x 5 1/4” (inside panel).
    • Misty Moonlight Cardstock:  4″ x 2″ (floral detail)
    • Pear Pizzazz Cardstock: 2″ x 2″ (leaves)

    The Creating

I began by die cutting and assembling the floral image. I cut the large floral outline die in Bumblebee and the large detailed floral die and the tulip die in both Night of Navy and Misty Moonlight. I also cut the scallop floral accent die from Bumblebee DSP.

I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue and my Silicone Craft Sheet for all the adhering…first the navy outline to the yellow base, then the navy centers to the base just at the inside corner which allowed for some lift at the floral edge, and then the blue small accent pieces. The Take Your Pick Tool Putty Tip is super handy to maneuver the smaller pieces, or you could use the Press & Seal Method if you prefer. Once the glue was dry I used the pointy end of the Take Your Pick Tool to lift and curl the outer edges of the navy pieces for the dimension. Next I adhered the navy tulip outline to the yellow DSP, added the blue pieces and then added it to the larger portion (I did not line up the bottom edges of the two pieces, but placed the top one a little lower to allow more room for the petals to pop out).

With Pear Pizzazz Ink, I stamped the leaf outline image on Pear Pizzazz Cardstock and cut it out with the coordinating die. I added these to the floral image with Mini Glue Dots. I positioned the tag on the Basic White Stitched Rectangle die cut for spacing perspective and stamped the sentiments from Create With Friends Photopolymer Stamp Set (page 36, 17 stamps) with Night of Navy Ink

With Night of Navy Ink, I stamped he sentiment from Artistically Inked Cling Stamp Set (page 97,12 stamps) on the Basic White inside panel, and also added the floral outline stamp on the lower left corner and on the Basic White Medium Envelope. With Misty Moonlight Ink and Bumblebee Ink I stamped the coordinating 2nd Step images inside the floral outline. I added the DSP strip and the inside panel to the card base with liquid glue.

To complete the card front I added the DSP panel to the card base, and the white stitched rectangle to the navy stitched rectangle, with liquid glue. I popped the navy stitched rectangle and the floral tag up with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added a Crushed Curry Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewel to the floral image (on the tulip) and three Night of Navy ones around the sentiment. So pretty!

This card is made with the Sweet Ice Cream Bundle from the January to June 2021 Mini Catalog. It contains the Ice Cream Cone Builder Punch and the Sweet Ice Cream Photopolymer Stamp Set. This set is super cute, summery and includes images and well sized sentiments for the inside and outside of your cards. Enjoy!

    The Paper Cuts

    • Flirty Flamingo Cardstock: 8 1/2″ x 4 1/4, scored at 5 1/2″ (card base)
    • Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper: 5″ x 3 3/4″ (front)
    • Basic White Cardstock: 3 3/4″ x 1 3/4 (approx) die cut from Stitched Rectangle Dies (front), two 5 1/4″ x 4″ (front and inside) and 5″ x 2″ (stamping)

    The Creating

    • With Flirty Flamingo Ink I stamped two ice cream scoops and three ice cream drips on the Basic White Cardstock. I also stamped the sentiments on the Stitched Rectangle die cut and inside panel. Then, I stamped the ice cream scoops on the inside panel and the envelope. These are masked and are second generation impressions (stamp off then on). TIPS: To make the mask I stamped the ice cream scoop on a scrap of computer paper and fussy cut it with my Paper Snips. To create the layers you start with the top image and go backwards…the top scoop first, the middle scoop second.
    • With Soft Suede Ink, I stamped the ice cream cones in second generation ink on the Basic White Cardstock, the inside panel (masking the ice cream) and the envelope. I added the crosshatch image in first generation ink to all.
    • I punched the two stamped ice cream scoops and the stamped cone with the Ice Cream Cone Builder Punch. I fussy cut the ice cream drips with Paper Snips.
    • To assemble, I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the Basic White panel (TIP: I cut the 3rd largest Stitched Rectangle Die from the center of this panel to use on another project. No one will ever know!), the DSP panel, and the Stitched Rectangle die cut to the card front. I also used it to adhere the inside panel.
    • I adhered the punched ice cream cone with a glue dot at the point and liquid glue at the top. I adhered the two ice cream scoops together with liquid glue and then popped them on the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The ice cream drips are added with Mini Glue Dots to slightly elevate them.
    • I colored three Rhinestone Basic Jewels with the Flirty Flamingo Dark Stampin’ Blend and added them to the card front. I used Wink of Stella to add a line of sparkle to the lower edges of the ice cream scoops.

Stampin’ Up! Art Gallery Spring Card for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Welcome to Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop for March! Today we are sharing “Celebrate Spring” projects. You will find links at the bottom of my post to hop you along the way to the projects. Be sure to check out all of our talented team members projects to see how they interpreted the theme and what they have made for you!

I used the Art Gallery Photopolymer Stamp Set from the 2021 January to June Mini Catalog (with a few other select stamps and dies) to make a Thinking of You Card with bright Spring colors and flowers that would brighten anyone’s day! There are links to the products used at the end of the blog. I hope you enjoy the card!

    The Paper Cuts

    • Basic White Thick Cardstock: 4 1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5 1/2″ (card base), largest Stitched Rectangle Dies die cut, and the middle Stitched Shapes Dies circle die cut.
    • Garden Green Cardstock: 4″ x 5 1/4″

    The Creating

    • I began by tracing the outline of the Stitched Shapes Dies medium circle onto the center of the Stitched Rectangles Dies die cut lightly with a pencil. This provided me with a stamping guide to know what would and what wouldn’t show from beneath the actual mounted die cut.
    • I then used Magenta Madness Ink to ink the top three flowers on the largest floral stamp in the Art Gallery Photopolymer Stamp Set. I stamped it once at the top and once at the bottom of the circle.
    • Using Gorgeous Grape Ink, I stamped the double floral image from the Art Gallery Photopolymer Stamp Set once on the left and once on the right of the circle.
    • With Bumblebee Ink, I added four of the small floral image from the Art Gallery Photopolymer Stamp Set in between the purple and pink images.
    • I then stamped the tiny flower from Blossoms in Bloom Photopolymer Stamp Set (2020-22 Annual Catalog) with Seaside Spray Ink.
    • Finally I added the double leaf image from Beautiful Friendship Photopolymer Stamp Set (2020-22 Annual Catalog) in Garden Green Ink.
    • With Garden Green Ink, I stamped the “Thinking of You” sentiment from the Blossoms in Bloom Photopolymer Stamp Set centered inside the Stitched Shapes Dies circle die cut. I also stamped the greeting from the Happy Thoughts Cling Stamp Set on the inside of the card base.
    • I repeated the flowers on the inside of the card and on the envelope flap. Don’t you love a matching set?
    • To assemble the card front I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the stamped Stitched Rectangle to the Garden Green panel and then both to the card base. I erased the pencil marks and then popped the Stitched Shapes die cut on with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
    • To embellish, I added three Magenta Madness 2020-2022 In Color Enamel Dots.

Stampin’ Up! To A Wild Rose Note Card

I used the To A Wild Rose Photopolymer Stamp Set from the 2020-21 Annual Catalog for this card. The design was adapted from a card designed by Australian Demonstrator, Kylie Bertucci. I decided to use the Stitched Rectangle Dies to cut the top Very Vanilla layer and the center of the card card front in order to align the stamped rose images (like a spotlight technique). Plus, it saved a Poppy Parade die cut layer for another card. I hope you enjoy!

    The Paper Cuts

    • Poppy Parade Cardstock: 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored at 5 1/2″ (card base) and 3 3/8″ x 4 6/8″ for layering.
    • Very Vanilla Cardstock: 3rd largest die (3″ x 4 5/16″) from Stitched Rectangle Dies and 4″ x 5 1/4″ (inside)

    The Creating

    • I began by placing the 3rd largest Stitched Rectangle Die in the center of the front of the Poppy Parade card base (with the card open) and passed it through the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine. Also cut this die from Very Vanilla Cardstock. I placed the Poppy Parade card base on my workspace and popped in the Very Vanilla die cut where I removed the Poppy Parade one. With Poppy Parade Ink I stamped the two roses at the top and the leaf image. I removed the Very Vanilla die cut to stamp the greeting and fill in the edges of the card front.
    • I also stamped the rose and leaves on the Very Vanilla inside panel and on the front of the Very Vanilla Medium Envelope.
    • To assemble, I added Multipurpose Liquid Glue around the opening on the card front and added the Poppy Parade panel. I added Multipurpose Liquid Glue on the back of the inside panel and added it inside the card.
    • I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back of the stamped Very Vanilla panel to pop it up on the card front.

If you need any stamping supplies, I’d be very happy to be your Demonstrator.  Just click on the links above or the shop image on on the right side of the screen to go directly to my online store or drop me an email me at stampdabbles@gmail.com. I’d love to hear from you.
