Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Cabin Thank You Card

I used the Stampin’ Up! Peaceful Cabin Bundle from the newly released July – December 2021 Mini Catalog. This bundle is part of the Peaceful Place Suite Collection which is awesome! In addition to the bundle (Peaceful Cabins Stamp Set and Cabin Dies) and the gorgeous Peaceful Place 12″x12″ Specialty Designer Series Paper I used for this card, it includes snow flocked velvet sheets, shimmer sequins in shades of white and silver, glittered organdy ribbon and a wood-grained embossing folder. See the links below for the details. It offers versatility for thank you and thinking of you cards as well as Christmas cards! Enjoy the card!

The Paper Cuts

  • Basic Gray Cardstock: 11″ x 4 1/4″, scored at 5 1/2″ (base)
  • Basic White Cardstock: 5 3/8″ x 2 1/2″ (cabin & die cut, 1 1/2″ x 1 3/4″ (fox & die cut) and 5 1/4″ x 4″ (inside panel)
  • Peaceful Place 12″x12″ Specialty DSP: 1/4 of the sheet with the trees & mountains that is made to quarter trimmed down to 5 3/8″ x 4 1/8″
  • Silver Foil Sheets: 2″ x 2 1/2″ (die cutting trees & stars)

The Creating

I began by adhering the DSP panel to the card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. This became my guide to line up the Basic White panels for general placement of the stamps. Since the images have a lot of detail, I used the Stamparatus for my stamping to allow me to stamp the image a second time if needed to. I stamped the cabin on the left of the larger Basic White panel and the fox on the left of the smaller Basic White piece with Basic Gray Ink. I added the sentiment below the cabin with Tuxedo Black Ink.

While stamping I added the 3 trees image with Basic Gray Ink on the inside panel and the envelope front. I stamped the inside sentiment in Tuxedo Black Ink.

I die cut the stamped cabin and fox as well as the three skinny trees and 7 snowflakes from the Silver Foil using the coordinating Cabin Dies. I adhered the fox layer with liquid glue then added the cabin layer with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added Wink of Stella to the edges of the snow die cuts, the rooftop and the stamped trees on the inside panel and envelope (just roughly squiggled onto the trees). I added the Silver Foil trees and stars with liquid glue. I supported the top of the one on the top left panel with a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional.

Thank you for stopping by. If you have any questions or need a catalog, I’d be very happy to be your Demonstrator.   You can drop me an email at stampdabbles@gmail.com. I’d love to hear from you!

Stampin’ Up! Pansy Patch Thank You Card

I used the Pansy Patch Photopolymer Stamp Set and the coordinating Pansy Petals 12×12 Designer Series Paper from the 2021-22 Annual Catalog to create this thank you card. It also features 2021-23 In Colors in the cardstock and embellishments. Enjoy!

    The Paper Cuts

    • Soft Succulent Cardstock: 4 1/4′′ x 11′′ scored at 5 1/2′′ (card base) and 2 1/4″ square (sentiment).
    • Evening Evergreen Cardstock: 4 – 1 3/4″ squares and the 4th largest scallop die cut from Layering Circles Dies.
    • Pansy Petals 12×12 Designer Series Paper: 2 – 1 1/2″ squares from one pattern, 2 – 1 1/2″ squares from a second pattern, 4″ x 1/2″ (inside) and 2 1/4″ x 6″ (envelope).
    • Vellum Cardstock: 3rd largest scallop die cut from Layering Circles Dies.
    • Basic White Cardstock: 4″ x 5 1/4″ (inside panel).

    The Creating

I began by stamping the “Thank You” sentiment from the Pansy Patch Photopolymer Stamp Set onto the center of the Soft Succulent square with Evening Evergreen Ink. I ran it through the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine with the 4th from the smallest smooth die. I adhered the die cut to the Evening Evergreen scallop circle die cut with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals to the back and adhered it to the Vellum scallop die cut. I folded a 3″ piece of Pale Papaya 3/8″ Open Weave Ribbon in half over a Mini Glue Dot to hold it in place and then another Mini Glue Dot to adhere the ribbon to the back of the vellum at about the 2 o’clock position so it would be in the top right square.

I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the 1 1/2″ DSP squares to the 1 3/4″ Evening Evergreen squares and then to the card front. I also added the Vellum tag making sure the glue was covered by the Evening Evergreen circle. I added three of the Pale Papaya 2021-23 In Color Jewels along the bottom left square.

I stamped the inside sentiment with Evening Evergreen Ink on the Basic White panel and added the DSP strip to the bottom with liquid glue before adhering it to the card base. I adhered the matching DSP to the envelope flap with liquid glue and trimmed the excess away with Paper Snips.

Stampin’ Up! Timeless Tropical Peek-A-Boo Thank You Card

I used the Timeless Tropical Photopolymer Stamp Set and the coordinating In The Tropics Dies from the 2021-22 Annual Catalog to create this thank you card. It features a fun peek-a-boo die cut with a smooth circle die from the Layering Circles Dies. Enjoy!

    The Paper Cuts

    • Basic White Thick Cardstock: 4 1/4′′ x 11′′ scored at 5 1/2′′ (card base).
    • Basic White Cardstock: 3” x 6” (for stamping & die cutting)
    • Flirty Flamingo Cardstock: 1″ x 2″
    • Old Olive Cardstock: 1″ x 4″

    The Creating

I began by stamping the two flower images and two leaves on Basic White Cardstock with Tuxedo Black Ink. I colored them with Stampin’ Blends Combos. I began by filling in two petals (with the stamin) of the hibiscus with Light Flirty Flamingo, adding a slightly smaller layer of Dark Flirty Flamingo, then Light Real Red, Dark Real Red, Light Cherry Cobbler and Dark Cherry Cobbler. Tip: when working with a smaller area the edges stay wet long enough to blend without going back over them. I repeated for the other 3 petals. For the smaller flower I used the same method with Light So Saffron , adding Dark So Saffron, Light Mango Melody and Dark Mango Melody. For the leaves I used Light and Dark Old Olive. For the stamin, I colored it in with Light Flirty Flamingo, added Light So Saffron on top and then dotted Dark Flirty Flamingo and Light Old Olive on the top half. I then die cut the images by running them through the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine with the coordinating In The Tropics Dies. I also cut the little flowers die from a scrap of Flirty Flamingo Cardstock and the small green leaves from a scrap of Old Olive Cardstock.

Next I cut the 2nd largest smooth circle die cut from Layering Circles Dies from the card front about 3/4″ from the top and sides. I placed the card on the Stamp-a-ratus open to the inside and placed the sentiment and hibiscus stamp down and closed the top to check the placement. Once satisfied, I picked up the stamps, inked them with Tuxedo Black and stamped them. I masked the hibiscus and stamped the two leaves. I also added the hibiscus and leaves to the corner of the Basic White Medium Envelope. Tip: to make the mask, stamp the image on a post it note, catching the sticky edge then trim the image out on the stamped line with Paper Snips. I then used the Stampin’ Blends to color as before. Tip: place a scrap of paper in the envelope to prevent bleed through to the other side.

I adhered the die cut hibiscus, yellow flower and one of the leaves with Stampin’ Dimensionals and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals. The other components are adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. I embellished with Wink of Stella on the Stamins and 3 Crushed Curry Holiday Rhinestone Jewels to some of the flower centers.

Stampin’ Up! Butterfly Brilliance Bookmark Thank You Card

This is the last Butterfly Brilliance Bundle project from the Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Team Meeting. The talented Mary Deatherage of Stamps-in-Lingers shared this sweet gift tag with us to all stamp together. I incorporated it into this Thank You card as a Bookmark. You will find instructions and all the links for the supplies I used below.

    The Paper Cuts

    • Thick Basic White Cardstock: 4 1/4″ x 11″scored at 5 1/2″ (card base), 2″ x 4″ (tag), and a Tasteful Labels die cut.
    • Butterfly Bijou Designer Series Paper : 4″ x 5 1/4″ (background) and two die cut butterflies (blue and yellow).
    • Vellum Cardstock: detailed Brilliant Wings die cut (same size as the blue butterfly)

    The Creating

    • First, I cut the top of the strip of Basic White Thick Cardstock with the Delightful Tag Topper Punch. Then I stamped the wildflower image from Dragonfly Garden Stamp Set in second generation Just Jade Ink near the bottom. I added the sentiment from So Sentimental Stamp Set in Misty Moonlight Ink over the top.
    • Use the large multi-butterfly die from Butterly Brilliance Dies to cut the butterflies from the Butterfly Bijou Designer Series Paper. You’ll only need two so save the others for another project. 🙂 Add Multipurpose Liquid Glue to the body of the Vellum Cardstock die cut butterfly and adhere it to the blue die cut butterfly body. Adhere the pair to the top of the tag/bookmark. Apply silver Metallic Pearls down the center of the body. So pretty!
    • Pull a length of the Misty Moonlight Ribbon through the hole in the top of the tag. Use a piece of Linen Thread to tie around the base.
    • I placed the butterfly tag/bookmark onto the left side of the 4″ x 5 1/4″ DSP. (Be sure to have it high enough that you can get your adhesive along the edge below it). I placed a ruler horizontally underneath the blue butterfly and used a pencil to mark the left and right as a guide to cut a slit with the Paper Trimmer (or an exact knife, if you prefer) so that only the butterfly would peak out. I applied Stampin’ Seal along the back edges of the DSP and adhered it to the card base. Then I slid the butterfly bookmark/tag into the slit. Voila!
    • In Misty Moonlight Ink I stamped “the little things…” sentiment from Happy Thoughts Stamp Set on the Tasteful Labels die cut. I used Tuxedo Black Ink (but wish I’d used Just Jade, you may want to modify) on the inside panel. to stamp “Thank You”. I stamped a second generation Misty Moonlight Butterfly and a second generation Magenta Madness Butterfly on the inside panel. I echoed these in first generation on the envelope front and flap.
    • I adhered the stamped label to the bottom of the card front and popped on a small yellow butterfly with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stampin’ Up! Butterfly Brilliance Thank You Card

I used the Butterfly Brilliance Bundle to make this monochromatic Thank You card. I’m having lots of fun with this bundle which includes the Butterfly Brilliance Cling Stamp Set and the Brilliant Wings Dies. It is part of the Butterfly Bouquet Collection which is an early release from the upcoming 2022 Annual Catalog. I hope you enjoy the card.

    The Paper Cuts

    • Thick Basic White Cardstock: 8 1/2″ x 4 1/4″, scored at 5 1/2″ (card base) and 3 3/4″ x 1/2″ (sentiment)
    • Bumblebee Cardstock: 5 1/4″ x 3 7/8″
    • Vellum Cardstock: 3″ x 4 3/8″ (die cutting)
    • Butterfly Bijou Designer Series Paper: the two yellow die cut butterflies, 1/2″ x 5 1/4″ (inside) and 2 1/2″ x 6″ (envelope)

    The Creating

    • I began by using the Brilliant Wings Dies butterfly die to cut the butterflies from the Butterfly Bijou Designer Series Paper. This large die cuts 6 butterflies, either stamped or from the DSP. I used the two yellow ones for this card.
    • I ran the Bumblebee Cardstock through the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine inside the Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder and adhered it to the card front with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
    • I stamped the sentiment from the Happy Thoughts Cling Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink on the white strip and the inside of the card.
    • I cut the Vellum Cardstock with the rectangle die from the Nature’s Thoughts Dies. It has a sweet, dotted border which reminded me of a butterfly’s path. I attached it to the card with Mini Glue Dots strategically hidden under the images and the embellishment.
    • I adhered the sentiment strip, the inside strip of DSP and the smaller butterfly on the inside with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I trimmed the excess away from the envelope flap with Paper Snips. The large butterfly on the front was popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
    • I added three Gold Glitter Enamel Dots to embellish the front.

Stampin’ Up! Positive Thoughts Spring Notecard

We had a beautiful sunny day today and I am just itching for Spring. I used the Positive Thoughts Cling Stamp Set and coordinating Nature’s Thoughts Dies from the 2020-21 Annual Catalog for this card. I hope you enjoy the card.

    The Paper Cuts

    • Garden Green Cardstock: 11″ x 4 1/4″, scored at 5 1/2″ (card base)
    • Basic White Cardstock: Stitched Rectangle Die (approx 3 1/4″ x 1 1/4″, sentiment), 2″ x 4″ (butterfly dies), and two 4″ x 5 1/4″ (front and inside)

    The Creating

    • With Tuxedo Black Ink, I stamped three butterflies from the Positive Thoughts Cling Stamp Set on Basic White Cardstock. I colored them with Light and Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends and then die cut them with the Nature’s Thoughts Dies and Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine. I added Wink of Stella to the wings for a little glam.
    • With Garden Green Ink, I stamped the sentiment on the Stitched Rectangles die cut and randomly stamped the fern image on the Basic White panels and Basic White Envelope.
    • To assemble I used Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive to apply the Basic White panels to the card base. I popped the butterflies and the Stitched Rectangle die cut with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
    • I embellished with three Rhinestone Basic Jewels.

Stampin’ Up! Dragonfly Garden Thank You Card

I used the Dragonfly Garden Bundle from the 2021 January – June Mini Catalog for this card. It contains the Dragonfly Garden Cling Stamp Set and the Dragonflies Punch. To color the dragonfly I searched the internet for pictures of actual species. They come in so many color varieties! This one looks like a rainbow! I hope you enjoy the card.

    The Paper Cuts

    • Mossy Meadow Cardstock: 8 1/2″ x 5 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″ (card base)
    • Whisper White Cardstock: medium Stitched Shapes Dies circle (sentiment), 2″ x 2 1/2″ (dragonfly), and 4″ x 5 1/4″ (inside)
    • Misty Moonlight Designer Series Paper: 3/4″ x 5 1/4″ (front), 4/16″ x 5 1/4″ (inside), and 5 3/4″ x 2 1/2″
    • Vellum Cardstock: 4 x 5 1/4″

    The Creating

    • With Tuxedo Black Ink, I stamped the dragonfly on Basic White Cardstock. I colored it with Light and Dark Stampin’ Blends in Mossy Meadow, Misty Moonlight, Blackberry Bliss and Balmy Blue. I added Wink of Stella to the wings and then punched it with with the Dragonflies Punch.
    • I ran the Vellum Cardstock through the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine inside the leafy Greenery Embossing Folder. I added it to the card front with 4 strategically placed Mini Glue Dots.
    • With Tuxedo Black Ink, I stamped the sentiments on the Stitched Shapes circle die cut and the Basic White inside panel.
    • I added the paper layers to the card and envelope with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and trimmed the excess on the envelope with Paper Snips.
    • I wrapped the Mossy Meadow Braided Linen Trim around the card front and tied it in a bow. The dragonfly is added with two Mini Glue Dots. The one on the tail overhung a little so I used my Take Your Pick Tool to roll the edges onto itself. I slightly curled the wings with my Bone Folder.
    • I added three (3) Misty Moonlight 2020-2022 In Color Enamel Dots to the card front.

Stampin’ Up! Art Gallery Thank You Card

I used the Art Gallery Bundle from the 2021 Jan-June Mini Catalog for this card. This bundle contains the Art Gallery Photopolymer Stamp Set and the Floral Gallery Dies at a 10% discount. I also used the coordinating Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper. Did you know that you could use the dies to cut out the floral images on the DSP? That’s exactly what I did here! So easy! The only stamping is the greeting.

    The Paper Cuts

    • Thick Basic White Cardstock: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″ (card base)
    • Basic White Cardstock: 5 1/4″ x 4″ (for embossing) and 1 3/4″ x 1 3/4″ (for die cut label)
    • Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper: three die cut floral pieces (front), 5 1/4″ x 1/2″ (for inside) and 5 3/4″ x 2 1/2″ (env)

    The Creating

    • Pass the Basic White panel through the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine inside the Textured Textile Embossing Folder.
    • Tie Whisper White Faux Linen Ribbon from the Forever Greenery Trim Combo Pack around the panel and into a bow. Secure the knot with a Mini Glue Dot if desired.
    • Pass the Basic White square through the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine with the larger circle die from Tasteful Labels Dies.
    • Stamp the greeting from the Art Gallery Stamp Set on the Tasteful Labels die cut cut near the bottom.
    • Arrange the die cuts on the card front. Adhere the two back flowers and the label with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Pop the top flower up with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
    • Add 3 Pearl Basic Jewels to the card front.
    • Adhere the 1/2″ strip of DSP to the bottom edge of the inside of the card and the larger piece to a Basic White Medium Envelope flap with Mutlipurpose Liquid Glue. Trim excess DSP from the envelope with Paper Snips.

I hope you enjoyed this card. There are links down below for the products used.

Stampin’ Up! Sweet Strawberry Thank You Card

I used the Sweet Strawberry Bundle and the Floral Designer Series Paper from the January – June 2021 Mini Catalog to create this sweet Thank You card. The strawberries could be stamped and colored, but I opted to punch them from the Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper from the 2021 Sale-A-Bration Brochure (free along with the Berry Blessings Photopolymer Stamp Set with a $100 retail purchase). I love the coordination of colors in Stampin’ Up!’s products – in this case, the Flirty Flamingo. It makes it fun and easy to create. Enjoy!

    The Paper Cuts

    • Flirty Flamingo Cardstock: 4 1/4″ x 11″, scored art 5 1/2″ (card base)
    • Gray Granite Cardstock: 4″ x 5 1/4″ and a 5/8″ x 2 3/4″ strip
    • Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper: 3 3/4″ x 5″ and 1/4″ x 4″ (inside)
    • Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper: three punched strawberries (see below).
    • Basic White Cardstock: largest scallop rectangle die cut from Stitched So Sweetly Dies and a 4″ x 5 1/4″ panel (inside)

    The Creating

    • With Gray Granite Ink, I stamped the vine and leaf image from the Sweet Strawberry Photopolymer Stamp Set on the Basic White scallop die cut. I used my Stamparatus, stamping one end and then rotating to stamp the other end for an evenly spaced design. I colored the inside of the flowers with a Light Saffron Yellow Stampin’ Blend. I colored the rest of the flower with Clear Wink of Stella.
    • I used the Strawberry Builder Punch to punch 3 strawberries from the Berry Delightful Designer Series Paper (I didn’t worry about the stems). First, I loosely cut them from the paper and used a PostIt to extend their size allowing me to get them in the punch where needed. This will maximize the rest of the DSP.
    • I used the same punch to punch a strawberry stem from Garden Green Cardstock and from Granny Apple Green Cardstock. I attached these to the strawberries with a Mini Glue Dot on each.
    • I used the Triple Banner Punch to flag the end of the Gray Granite strip. Then used Versamark Ink to stamp the “Thank You”, sprinkled it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and melted it with the Heat Tool.
    • I stamped the inside greeting and the vine image on the envelope with Gray Granite Ink. I added a DSP strip to the bottom edge and topped it with the 3rd strawberry punch. (This strawberry is a little smaller than the other two so I was able to get most of the stem and used my Paper Snips to trim around the top of the strawberry a little closer).
    • I assembled the card as shown using Stampin’ Dimensionals on the front two strawberries, the scallop die cut and the right edge of the Gray Granite banner. The rest was adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

There are links down below for the products used.
