Stampin’ Up! Final Hours for Jan-June 2021 Mini Catalog Products and True Love Thinking of You Card

This card features the True Love 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper from the January-June 2021 Mini Catalog. I have really enjoyed it and it is going away tonight along with the other items on the Last Chance Product List (see below the card). Don’t miss out on any of the items you might be longing for…click Click here to hop on over to my online store to purchase items while there is still supply available! The products will no longer be available after June 30 at 11:59 pm MT.

The Paper Cuts

  • Thick Basic White Cardstock: 11″ x 4 1/4″, scored at 5 1/2″ (card base) and a stitched circle die cut from Warm Hugs Dies.
  • True Love 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper: 4 1/2″ x 5″ cut into 3 1 1/2″ strips on the long side and 5 3/4″ x 2 1/4″ (envelope flap).
  • Basic Black Cardstock: 4″ x 5 1/4″ (front layer)
  • Polished Pink Cardstock: the 4th largest die from Encircled in Beauty Dies.

The Creating

I began by assembling the black and white layers onto the card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then I added the sentiments from the Beauty of Friendship Cling Stamp Set with Tuxedo Black Ink. I adhered the stamped, stitched circle from Warm Hugs Dies to the Polished Pink die cut from the Encircled in Beauty Dies. I popped the layered piece on with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I added three Polished Pink 2021-2023 In Color Jewels to embellish. So pretty! I adhered the remaining piece of True Love DSP to the flap of the envelope and trimmed the excess with my Paper Snips for a coordinating set.

I hope you enjoyed the card. If you have any questions or need a catalog, I’d be very happy to be your Demonstrator.   You can drop me an email at stampdabbles@gmail.com. I’d love to hear from you!

Stampin’ Up! Sweet Ice Cream Birthday Card

I used the Sweet Ice Cream Bundle from the January to June 2021 Mini Catalog (page 49) for this fun birthday card. The bundle includes the Sweet Ice Cream Photopolymer Stamp Set and the Ice Cream Builder Punch at a 10% discount when purchased together (item no. 156244). Enjoy!

    The Paper Cuts

    • Thick Basic White Cardstock: 4 1/4″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 5 1/2″ (card base)
    • Basic White Cardstock: largest scallop rectangle die cut from Stitched So Sweetly Dies.
    • True Love 12×12 Designer Series Paper: 5 1/2″ x 4″ (front panel and inside strip)
    • Bermuda Bay Cardstock: 1 1/2” x 2” (ice cream scoop)
    • Blackberry Bliss Cardstock:  1 1/2″ x 2″ (ice cream scoop)
    • Pumpkin Pie Cardstock: 3″ x 2″ (ice cream cones)

    The Creating

I began by coloring the white stripes in the True Love Designer Series Paper panel with Stampin’ Blends: Pumpkin Pie Dark, Blackberry Bliss Light, and Bermuda Bay Light. I colored a 17″ piece of White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon with the Bermuda Bay Light Stampin’ Blend. I trimmed 1/4″ off the long edge of the panel. I adhered the panel to the card front and the strip to the inside bottom edge with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

With the Ice Cream Cone Builder Punch, I punched two cones from Pumpkin Pie Cardstock and an ice cream scoop from Bermuda Bay Cardstock and from Blackberry Bliss Cardstock. With VersaMark Ink, I added the cross hatch image to the cones and the sprinkles to the Bermuda Bay ice cream scoop. I used Whisper White Craft Ink to add the sprinkles to the Blackberry Bliss ice cream scoop. I hit the images with the Heat Tool to ensure the ink was dry. I applied liquid glue across the top edge of the cones and topped with the ice cream scoops. I added Wink of Stella to the sprinkles for a little sparkle. I added Stampin’ Dimensionals (top) and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals (point of cone) to the backs of the cones.

I stamped the sentiment on the Stitched So Sweetly panel with Tuxedo Black Ink and tied the colored ribbon around the panel with a bow. I popped the ice cream cones on over the ribbon and added the decorated die cut to the front panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

With Bermuda Bay Ink, I stamped “Happy Birthday” on the inside of the card and an ice cream scoop on the front of the Basic White Medium Envelope. I masked the ice cream scoop and stamped the cone image in 2nd Generation Pumpkin Pie Ink and the crosshatch image in 1st Generation Pumpkin Pie Ink. I added the “Hope It’s Sweet” inside the card with Tuxedo Black Ink.

Stampin’ Up! Butterfly Brilliance Shadowed Thank You Card

Yesterday Amy’s Inkin’ Krew had our Team Meeting and we stamped together! Our talented Jaimie Babarczy at www.stampitupwithjaimie.com shared this awesome card with us! To make it we used the Butterfly Brilliance Bundle (Butterfly Brilliance Cling Stamp Set and Brilliant Wings Dies. It is an early release from the 2021-2022 Annual Catalog and is amazing! There is a link to the original post with all the product details. If you’d like to be a part of our team, I’d love to talk to you about how! You can also find more information at the Starter Kit quick link under my signature below.

    The Paper Cuts

    • Terracotta Tile Cardstock: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″ (card base)
    • Butterfly Bijou Designer Series Paper (watercolor pattern): 3 1/2″ x 4 1/4″
    • True Love Designer Series Paper (black stripe pattern): 2 1/4″ x 5 1/2″
    • Basic White Cardstock: 2 3/8″ x 5 1/2″, 3 5/8″ x 4 3/8″ and 4″ x 5 1/4″ (inside panel)
    • Basic Black Cardstock: 1″ x 2″ (sentiment) and 3″ x 4″ (butterfly die)

    The Creating

    • I adhered the True Love DSP onto the 2 3/8″ x 5 1/2″ Basic White Cardstock and then onto the Terracotta Tile card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
    • Using the largest detailed butterfly die in the Brilliant Wings Dies I cut it out of the center of the Butterfly Bijou DSP. I also cut it from the 3″ x 4″ Basic Black Cardstock.
    • I adhered the cut piece of Butterfly Bijou DSP onto the 3 5/8″ x 4 3/8″ Basic White Cardstock with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
    • I layered the two butterfly die cuts together and then over the cut out with Multipurpose Liquid Glue on their center body, fluffing the wings out. This layer is popped up onto the card front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
    • I stamped the Thank You sentiment from the Blossoms in Bloom Photopolymer Stamp Set onto the small strip of Basic Black Cardstock with Versamark Ink. I topped it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder and melted it with the Heat Tool. I notched the end with the Banner Triple Punch and adhered it to the card front.
    • For the inside Basic White Layer, I added the coordinating Butterfly Brilliance Cling Stamp Set butterfly stamp in Second Generation (Stamp Off) Terracotta Tile Ink and adhered it to the inside of the card base.
    • For the envelope I added the same butterfly in First Generation Terracotta Tile Ink.

Stampin’ Up! True Love Birthday Card for Amy’s Inkin’ Krew Blog Hop

Welcome back to another Amy’s Inkin’ Krew blog hop!  This month we are all creating projects with a “Birthday” theme. My birthday card spotlights the True Love Designer Series Paper from the January – June 2021 Mini Catalog which is all beautiful patterns in black and white. Enjoy!

    The Paper Cuts

    • True Love Designer Series Paper: largest rectangle die cut from Stitched Rectangle Dies, 5 1/4″ x 3/8″ (inside), 5 3/4″ x 2 1/4″ (envelope) and the colored and fussy cut flowers and leaves.
    • Rich Razzleberry Cardstock: 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″, scored at 4 1/4″ (card base) and the 3rd largest scallop circle die cut from Layering Circles Dies.
    • Basic Black Cardstock: 5 1/4″ x 3 7/8″ and the “Happy” die from Word Wishes Dies.
    • Basic White Cardstock: 5 1/4″ x 4″ and the 4th largest smooth circle die cut from Layering Circles Dies.

    The Creating

    • I used Rich Razzleberry Light and Dark Stampin’ Blends to color the floral images. I used Old Olive Light and Dark Stampin’ Blends to color the leaves and stem. I highlighted the floral centers with a shadow of Light Smokey Slate Stampin’ Blend. In total, there is a cluster of 3 flowers, a bud with a leaf and a separate flower and leaf to layer underneath. After coloring I fussy cut with Paper Snips leaving a narrow margin of white.
    • I aligned the “Happy” die cut on the white circle die cut and stamped “Birthday” from the Well Said Stamp Set in Tuxedo Black Ink. I used Multipurpose Liquid Glue to adhere the die cut above the stamped sentiment and to adhere the circles together.
    • I stamped the inside sentiment on the Basic White panel with Tuxedo Black Ink. I adhered the DSP strip and a fussy cut flower image with liquid glue. This flower was salvaged from the edge of the DSP and trimmed slightly with my Paper Trimmer to align with the edges of my panel.
    • The card was assembled with liquid glue with the exception of the large cluster of flowers which is popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The envelope flap panel was trimmed with Paper Snips after adhering.
    • I colored 3 Rhinestone Basic Jewels with the Rich Razzleberry Dark Stampin’ Blend to embellish the card front.

You will also receive $10 in product credit for every $50 you spend when you use the monthly Host Code at the bottom of my posts…the current Host Code is ZBPFUVB7. (If your order is $150 or more, you will receive your own code which includes my reward as well as additional rewards from Stampin’ Up! – see the Rewards Tab for details). You will also receive loyalty points which will translate into more free product. You can find a Loyalty Order Tracking Form HERE to help you keep track.
